Fawad Khan is ill

Fawad Khan, who is back in Mumbai after a long shoot schedule in Coonoor, has not been keeping well lately. The actor has postponed his return to Pakistan as his blood sugar levels have dropped. We hear that Fawad wanted to host an iftaar party for his friends and family in Pakistan. But owing to health issues, he has kept that on hold for now.

"He will be flying back to Pakistan after a few days. Fortunately, during his shoot in Coonoor he was accompanied by his wife and was looked after by the unit members of Dharma films," says a close source. The actor will be celebrating Id with his family in Pakistan before returning to India early next month and resume shooting for his film. "That Fawad is a diabetic is known to all. Keeping a check on his blood sugar is mandatory," the source adds.

There's also buzz about the Pakistani heartthrob making an appearance on a reality TV show that has his new best friend Karan Johar on board as a judge. "That'll happen as per the promotional strategy of their film Kapoor And Sons. Karan has plans of presenting him in a larger-than-life manner. But a lot will depend on the progress of their film," the source says.
