Most the performances were more about effects than dance especially the one that scored 37 I like that girl but I am here to watch a dance show so I be critical here.Originally posted by: grumpydwarf
More dance and less visual effects! +1
Well said and its what JDJ is all about. If a contestant make a weak start they're room for improvements and Radhika is trained dancer I don't see the need for those crappy visual effects and graphics used in the performance. VD was doing more lifts than dance while his partner was doing all the work.Originally posted by: JalebiSwirls
Agreed. Choreographers need to stop hiding their dancers' weaknesses with special effects. And for the male dancers, no more just standing around and doing lifts in the name of dance. How else are they going to learn and improve?
Visual effects just kills the charm of overall dance.. If contestant can not move then rather then hiding behind the colors, work hard and do your personal best. Use nice prop which will suit your contestant. Among the non dancers lot I felt Mohit Malik's choreo made him dance with power. I really liked that. I hope MM team shows us only dance in each episode.
