Ormax Star India Loves (SIL) is a monthly character popularity report that tracks favourite male & female Bollywood stars in 19 cities across India, with a total sample size of 3,300 per month (39,600 per year).

Star popularity information is relevant to studios as well as other stakeholders such as advertisers, media agencies and talent management companies, who invest in stars based on their popularity. One of the most direct use of the SIL report is to take casting decisions, as well as to select priority markets for a film, based on its starcast. Monthly movements in popularity scores can be correlated to film releases, TV appearances, news events and brand endorsement campaigns, leading to a deeper understanding on how a star's equity is built.
