Shanti was happy today...

i know her speciality is making other people unhappy, and we are loving to hate her. But today in that last scene when she got up and dance she was happy. It showed in her face.
She was surrounded by her family, and for the moment at least she was not looking to spite, hurt or have revenge on any one. And THAT I think is what is buried deep under all that bitterness she spews.
Lets look at her circumstance and not her action that may have turned this once loving person into such a bitter pill today.! From interviews, it is said her husband died at a young age leaving her with two kids to raise. In India that might not be an easy task. But she did the best she did made sure her son got educated enough for him to become a Train Guard. Sarla as we are seeing is not, she probably was pulled out of school.But that is another story.
She worked hard, and learned the hard way fight or die as a single parent in a male dominated world , which gave her a hard exterior. it probably made her street smart, and brash.
FF to present...she is old in a house where the kids are young and modern, Her son is married to a wonderful girl is true, but as all mothers fear...the wife can take away my son...so keep the wife under my thumb to keep the son in tact.
Sarla is getting special treatment because Sarla she sees as a reflection of herself and her younger days , struggling to make ends meet. Albeit Sarla leaves no stone unturned in making her husband look bad in front of her family!.
Life has turned her into a bitter woman, however at this point she is oblivious about how her actions are affecting others. I am basing this on the fact that Koushilya walked away from her a few times in anger and she seemed totally baffled as to why was she mad!
I am not saying her actions are not wicked, but I think beneth it is a woman who just wants her families attetion...and unfortunately maybe the only way she gets it is when she is causeing some drama ...otherwise each of them would be off in their own world and she would be by herself swinging on that swing!!!
What do you guys think...Please share your thoughts. And please keep it clean!!

I think because of her strict nature she has ended up pushing her grand kids away..I felt so bad that day when Nimmi was screaming in the storeroom when she saw a snake...and when shashikala opened the door Nimmi went straight to her Mom to hug her...She didn't hug her daadi who was standing right in front of her..I kinda felt bad looking at shashikala's face😆..cuz even though she plays all these games in the house..but you can tell she loves her grand kids a lot!!

I don't wanna open a new topic lol..I just wanna say I am so excited for tomorrow's episode😳😆..Shivam and Riya in the cafe..I hope Shivam tells Riya that he likes her😛..( I don't think he loves her yet))...

Vinnie, i said to your last night in my comment, when shashikala is happy this house is happy, i could see her DIL was happy with her, she was happy with her DIL and the kids, she is strict I guess she wants them to be perfect and as u said,, she is seeking attention THIS IS why i said that day she and her daughter are behaving like 2 small girls **remember her drama, i m fasting, i m not eating hehehehe she was looking at koshaliya to give her attention , she needs it but her ego won't let her say yes i need that ,,, she has big ego she has to make it look like she is crazy old lady heheheehh
So when koshaliya was happy the house was happy
Raghav was happy too, he came in seeing them happy, he was so happy !!
i felt happy seeing the last scene and hopping to see more of those coming in.
