How can anyone be sure what Anandi did when the scene was shown in mute? Police asked the man's description or just what happened? Sorry - I cant hear the dialogues clearly - but will see written updates.

Today anandi is what she is because of herself and not because of the singhs. If it were for the Singhs she would have been jagyas beendini again for the second time. DS asked anandi to marry her ladesaar soon after he redeemed and started craving for anandi, remember? The Singhs only compensated for their crimes towards anandi. That's it.

As for nandini's situation, I do feel sorry for her. She had to witness the horror. But considering where anandi left nandini, I won't be surprised , if she was actually subjected to that cruelty. Thanks to mangala, nandini has not yet experienced that cruelty, but only in a position to witness it. A much better scenario.

What anandi got is compensation. Not support. So much difference between the two. As for sarpanch,I think it is truly her hard work alone. Putting up with those villagers wasn't an easy task. She could have had an easier life instead. She didn't give up. It's fine if you have a different opinion.

Completing her education was pure compensation. If not for the Singhs she would have completed it long back.

As for shiv - he was already in love with anandi not because she had Singhs behind her.

Completely agree.
Not because she had Singhs behind her but she had all all the qualities Shiv wanted in his wife.
And people are keep on saying if she was not married in Singhs house then she would have been in worse situation because Khajaan could not have done any good for her. But I must say if she was not married in childhood and continued her studies she would have become a collector much before Jagya became Dr Jagat.
Now people will say Khajaan could not have made her even graduate then how she could have become a collector. Because she was extremely talented so could have easily got scholarships and continued her studies on her own.

While we cannot underestimate singhs contribution, we cannot underestimate anandi too.
She would have ended up helping others.

Anandi became Sarpanch on her own merrits.
