Now the situation is changing in every part of the country even in rural areas. I have seen in many villages of Rajasthan, people are not marrying their daughters before they get some employment. Because they try to find best groom for their daughter but if the groom is well educated and employed, they are demanding girl also to be educated and in some cases employed. So in villages if someone's daughter is employed, her parents are so relived that she will automatically get a good husband.
In my native village in Rajasthan most of the girls are not married before the age of 24-25. One or two exceptions are may be there.
