Hall was decorated lavishly by flowers and golden ribbon, with huge board of people who are to get married near the door, it's filled with crowd and mother of bride is running around making sure things are done well, and glow of happiness on her father's face to finally having a day, when his little princess has grown up so much to now get married, or say FINALLY get married, as tears rolled down his eyes, recalling bitter past his daughter had. "I cannot marry Kalpana uncle, because..." he had paused... "I guess because I love someone else, and I will be happier with her..." he was stunned by words that left his fianc... naa, now "ex" fianc, he thought. "Now everything will be perfect in life of my princess!" he thought with smile, when suddenly loud music fell on his ears and crowd turned towards the door and Kalpana's mother, Neetu, smiled as she rushed to door, hearing "Baarat" approaching.
Groom was welcomes with some teasing rituals, which included pulling his nose, passing through human cave formed by bride's brother/sister/friends in pair making a "V" with their both hands joining by palms above their heads as they faced each other. Row of such paired relatives were to be passed. Groom entered the hall and made his way near the seat which was meant for him, and removing his shoes he settled down near pious bonfire.
Kalpana's sister came down running in panicky state, with a letter in her hand, looking here and there worried for someone. Finally spotting that one person, she ran towards her father. Kalpana's father got up and followed her upstairs.
It was almost 15 minutes, but there was no single sign of bride coming nor anyone around to confirm about on-going seeming chaos... Finally a Kalpana's father, Mr. Vitthal Jadhav, appeared in front of Groom's smiling father, he removed the turban he wore with pride this morning, with tears rolling down his eyes, while Neetu and Nikita (Kalpana's sister) watched with sadness to helpless condition of Vitthal. Groom's father stood their confused, and everyone could guess about what had gone about. ""PLEASE FORGIVE US..!!" he finally spoke with utter disappointment and guilt in his voice, "YOU DECIDED TO MAKE MY DAUGHTER YOUR DAUGHTER, INSPITE OF KNOWING EVERYTHING, YOU ALL HAVE BIG HEART, BUT TODAY, I SEEM TO BE FAILED ONE HERE!" he sobbed, as he recalled her words ever since this alliance was fixed, "Dad, my broken marriage, doesn't mean, you have to anyways get me married, and that no other man will ever marry me..." she was crying, and pleading him to not force her into this unwanted marriage alliance, but being concerned parents to her, Neetu and Vitthal just wanted to see their princess married to one perfect man. This guy was richer then her ex-fiance, and it would prove, his daughter was so precious to be worth being bride to anyone, but it seems, Kalpana was too determined to not marry right now, Vitthal gathered all the courage he had as he spoke, "KALPANA RAN AWAY" he broken down on floor kneeling with his turban in hand, as Nikita and Neetu ran to support Vitthal, while everyone in hall remained stunned with this fact. Nikita once again read the letter to just find any damn clue about Kalpana, this time was bit louder audible to groom and family as well,
"Dear Aai and Baba,
I am really sorry for taking this drastic step. I am not ready for this marriage, and I cannot make ANYONE suffer because of me. It's firm and final I am not marrying ! I CANNOT! My Previous relationship has taught me a lot, I had always considered him my friend more than my fiance, whom you all now call ex-fiance' , HE is guilty for what he had done with me, he wants to set things right for me, and this isn't time for my marriage yet! I tried meeting to meet the same man whom you had fixed my alliance with so many times!" Groom who was hearing every word carefully now attended to what letter further read... "I wanted to tell him, to refuse to the marriage, but I guess he is too busy to even speak or meet his so called wife!" Nikita read out, as groom stood there went into
Flashback:
He had received call from unknown number he picked it up, "I am Kalpana," came desperate answer before she even said hello, "I am really busy Kalpana, I have meeting in few minutes cannot talk," and he had cut the call, recalling words of his best friend, "Dude, with entry of new girl as your life partner, your love for work and this office needs to reduce for she will always demand your attention, and you maybe drawn to her giving toss to your work... Please try to avoid that," he had teased, "she may keep calling you to discuss beauty tips, favourite nail polish or say flowers, send you romantic messages and poems. She will make some excuses to meet you as well," he had said with wink. "NO WAYS! I WILL NEVER GIVE HER THAT TIME NOR WASTE MY PRECIOUS TIME BEHIND THOSE STUPID ANTIQUES, I AM HOPING SHE WILL UNDERSTAND THESE BASICS RULES OF MY LIFE, THAT I WON'T BE ABLE TO DEVOTE MY LIFE TO HER, AS SHE MIGHT BE EXPECTING, OR DREAMING OF... I KNOW HER VERY WELL, AND HAS SEEN HER WORK AS EMPLOYEE OR EXCELLENT STUDENT IN WELL KNOWN COLLEGE, HOPE SHE KNOWS MY WAY OR SHE HAS TO KNOW AND GET USED TO MY WAYS!" he had decided. It was just after 3 days he had received a chit, after he had constantly ignored her calls and didn't even read messages, chit read that SHE wanted to meet him, and had called him to meet her at FRENCH restaurant, but he was determined to not go there... It was rainy evening and she might have kept waiting for him, but HE hadn't gone."

"I am Sorry aai baba, for taking this step, but I have to go, I cannot get married right now! I am pretty sure you might have by now guessed, I am not alone, and I still have Him by me, that's enough and all what I need for now!" letter ended.
Everyone stood there wondering, what to do, or how to go about? It was just then a loud noise of wheels stopping outside was heard which gained everyone's attention, as a foot stepped down from the car, and a tall man held a bangles filled wrist of Kalpana and dragged her inside the hall filled with people, as everyone looked on. Vitthal looked up see the man, whom he identified as "Ankur." Ankur looked around at everyone there, "HERE HAVE YOUR DAUGHTER," he said, roughly pushing Kalpana towards Vitthal, "I WILL NOT LET HER SPOIL LIFE OF MY SISTER!" he shouted. "YOUR EX-FIANCE is now my sister's fianc," he said in a threatening tone, as old couple in a corner looked down, Kalpana looked at them, they were parents of her best friend! Her ex-fiance! She looked into eyes of ankur as she spoke, "YOU BLACKMAILED HIM TO SAY YES TO YOUR SISTER'S PROPOSAL" she said with confidence. Her words shook Ankur, "Does she know it?" he thought, and "YES," came loud reply from Kalpana, "I KNOW EVERYTHING, HE MAY HIDE THINGS FROM HIS FIANCE, BUT NEVER ANYTHING FROM HIS BEST FRIEND!" she replied in equal strong tone! "He told me everything when I met him "Purely Accidentally" 1 week back near my office!" she said, "YOU BLACKMAILED, OR SAY TRIED TO LURE HIM, WITH OFFER OF PERFORMANCE IN GREAT LONDON DANCE COMPETITION! ALL HE HAD TO DO IS BREAK OFF WITH ME and SAY YES TO ADITI!" she said strongly, "But guess what..." She said laughing, "the day Aditi comes to know the truth she will hate you for your actions, your love for your little one has blinded you Mr. Ankur Kapoor, but poor thing still is in illusion he loves her and only her, have you ever thought of consequences of when she will come to know the truth?" she questioned him. Her words had indeed brought in wave of shock to everyone in the hall, specially parents, that old couple in corner... "Could that be true?" they wondered. Vitthal stood there confused... But Ankur's anger had reached it's peak by her open accusation, as he looked back at her and screamed, "SHE WILL NEVER KNOW!" he said... "I WILL NEVER LET KNOW!!" he said and stormed off as Kalpana tried going behind him to know whereabouts of her kidnapped Best Friend!
