chandni, i would have let go the serial if akbar was not exploited to this extent and talent of rajat not wasted in a magnum, opus which now is no more than a regular sbs crap..since they want to drag it more my request to the makers is to restore the dignity and aura of this larger than life character who once was one of the strongest rulers of the world and richest!

Akbar has not bothered to speak to any of his kids and know their aspiration and aims and their desires. All he does is order them to go on battles or take care of functions etc

And the way Akbar messed up in Shah I iran track making murad and Salim enemy no father shall ever do that usually - where is maturity in dealings

Further in this MEA track I have no high hopes actually, it may initially be like MEA a clash of two generations, of values, of society and individual choices but I doubt that it will be shown as brilliantly as MEA these CVs are not mature to write such scenes

Further look at Jodha in MEA track a true blood blooded empress she said "Humara Hindustan tumhare dil nahi jiski ek laundi malika bane" and here she is saying she will speak to jalal

What a joke? Will real jodha do this ever her neice her amer family is at stake and will she support salim and make a rakasha a bahu what a joke? No queen or royal family member shall agree that

And Akbar's reaction was also not so strong- real Akbar would have arrested anarkali then and there and slapped Salim for daring to love behind his back

Also here they have already introduced Man Bai and spoiled the story, now Salim is villan here not the hero fighting it all out for love in eyes of audience, he is one playing with man bai life for anarkali so sympathy shall be with man bai and Akbar not salim and anarkali

Lets see, I feel it shall not equal MEA, may be 30-40% of that level not further

prem, there were many illogical tracks that i could not relate to history nor make the head or tail out of it..now look at the recent chudail track it made no sense whatsoever and nor i found it that entertaining as i could not relate to it..i would rather watch fear files where the genre is horror and not some history show with such bizarre NRs!..and that is what my post is about that what they had shown so far is mainly disjointed and illogical! ..now coming to this MEA track the only way this track can work is if they keep the characterization close to the MEA characters and if they try to be different and creative at the brain power they have they will bomb it for sure!
