Akbar announces a war and it will go on till they win Chittor. Pratap tells Ajabde that he has no idea till when will this go on and they don't have much food left. She reasons that it can last for another month only. Chakrapani arrives. Chakrapani tells Ajabde and Pratap that everyone is fine and that HK ran away and thay talk about Amar and that he misses both of them a lot. Pratap assures Ajabde that they will return soon.

The work of sapaat and the sand mountain is on in full swing. Days pass by. Both the sapaat's get ready. Akbar wants his cannons to be moved to the top the sand mountains.

Ajabde tells Pratap that they have food only for 15 more days. Jaimal's wife tells that Ajabde has not eaten anything for the past 2 days. Ajabde lies that she had kept a fast. Pratap is touched. He too decides to give up on food from now onwards.

They hear a blast and go out. Rawat ji comes to inform them that the Mughals have resumes firing cannons. Many soldiers / citizens get wounded. Pratap orders them to be taken inside the fort.

Akbar tells his commanders to shoot continuously till the time they are able to get inside the fort. Pratap tells Rawat ji to cal Khetu.

30th June

A soldier informs Pratap that US and the royal family has safely reached Udaipur.

Pratap greets Khetu and her father and tells them everything. Akbar tells his soldiers to put a heavy amount of gunpowder (3k ser) around the boundaries of the fort. He appoints his different commanders at the sapaats.

Pratap telsl Khetu that if this gunpowder explodes then lot many Mughal soliders will enter inside the fort. Khetu will have to stop it. Khetu says I will have to change the direction of this gunpowder back to the sapaat's. This will kill the soldiers and commanders too. Pratap likes the idea. Khetu decides to enter in the Mughal's camps in the disguise of a Mughal soldier. Pratap agrees. Khetu decides to enter in the Mughal camps tonight itself. Pratap tells her to think once again as he life will be at risk. Khetu replies that very few people get to give up their life for you and Chittor. Pratap notices Ajabde. Khetu has a request. I need to be at peace for a while. Pratap tells Ajabde to give Khetu whatever she wants. Khetu looks sadly at Pratap as he leaves from the court.

Ajabde notices wedding dress in Khetu's hands. Khetu says Baba got it for me. He saved every penny to get it. He wanted to see me in this dress once but his dream will be finished today. I thought to wear it once before drying. I can imagine myself as a new bride. It will make me and Baba happy. Ajabde goes to bring her jewels and help her in getting ready. Khetu calls Ajabde lucky. You get to take serve Pratap every day. I got a chance today to serve him. Ajabde knows that she loves him. Vermilion box drops from her hand as she is taken aback.

Ajabde brings Khetu outside. Pratap looks at Khetu. Ajabde observes them. Mewar's success lies in your success. Khetu nods tearfully. She touches Pratap's feet. I have to say something to you once I return. He says I will wait for you. Ajabde is about to tell Pratap about Khetu's love for him but Pratap says she loves Mewar. He insists upon the word Mewar.

Khetu reaches Mughal camp base. She kills a soldier. Isa Kaka tells the soldiers to hurry up. She overhears his plan.

1st July

Isa Kaka notices Khetu and tells her to work fast. Khetu drops something in haste. Isa Kaka realises who she is. Isa Kaka orders his soldiers to catch Khetu. She sets fire to the gunpowder and runs away. There is a very big blast at that sapaat.

Pratap looks from his binoculars. Khetu is alive. She is heading back towards the other gate of fort. Everyone is thankful that she is alive. Rawat ji notices a few Mughal soldiers coming after her. Pratap decides to get the soldiers ready at that gate. He looks again but cannot see Khetu. She goes towards the other sapaat. An arrow drops before Yaar Begh. They understand the hint. Maybe someone from the enemy side has come here. Khetu fights with all the Mughal soldiers her disguise is torn. Pratap orders his shooters to be ready. Isa Kaka tells the commander at that sapaat to make the blast right away. Khetu is still on her way. One of the soldiers shoots a bullet which hits her. She gets hit for the second time as well. Pratap cannot stay back anymore. She needs me. Jaimal ji tells him against it. Khetu still wants to make it to the sapaat somehow. It isn't that far. I have to reach there somehow. She falls down from the horse when she is shot the third time. She recalls Pratap's words. Khetu signals everyone at the fort to move back. She looks tearfully at Pratap and her Baba. She enters sapaat. Isa Kaka and all the soldiers are taken aback to see her. She notices a lit torch in a corner. She picks it up, chants Jai Ekling ji and sets fire to the gunpowder that was before them in the cart. All die.

Surajmal reaches Mughal camp base and says that their soldiers are tied and that they should postpone the war. Akbar suggests him to get Jaimal on their side and that he will make him Merta's King without any condition. Jaimal is at the Kuldevi Temple. Surajmal reaches there when Jaimal is doing puja. He is surprised to see Surajmal there. A soldier is keeping a watch on them. Jaimal knows that Surajmal has brought some message from Akbar. Surajmal tells him to return to his state without any fear.

The soldier informs Pratap about the guest who has come to talk to Jaimal ji and that he has come from Mughal's camp base. Kalla has faith in Jaimal ji whereas everyone else wants to overhear the convo of Jaimal and the guest. Pratap is sure that Akbar has some plan in his sleeve.

2nd July

Surajmal tells Jaimal to return to his state and live there peacefully even if that means that he will be under Akbar. Jaimal refuses and tells him to help the Rajputs. Surajmal goes away.

The courtesans are discussing the situation. They go quiet when Jaimal greets them. Pratap wants to appoint a main commander as the war is on peak. He gives the chance to Raja Jaimal. Jaimal is touched by Pratap's trust in him.

Akbar orders his commanders to attack on Chittor's fort he wants to win the war asap. The commanders charge up. Pratap sends all the men at different gates. Akbar tells his soldiers to enter inside the fort from the crack in the wall. The soldiers march forward towards the fort.

The Mewar soldiers are all set to shoot arrows at the approaching enemy. Many Mughal soldiers die because of the attack from Mewar soldiers from above the fort. The Mughals shoot them in counter attack. There is another cannon blast. The ladies inside are tensed. Mughal soldiers enter inside the fort. Pratap goes down to fight with them.

Mughal soldiers kill a few Mewar soldiers inside the fort. Pratap gets angry. He kills all the soldiers that come in his way. Mughals blast a big cart full of gunpowder around one of the gates. Pratap and everyone at Chittor are heartbroken. The Mughal commanders smile. Pratap says Jai Ekling ji and gets ready to face all the soldiers entering from that area.

Khetu taking down the sabaats!- i salute women like Khetu who will go to any end to do good for her land and her people! I fully believe that she and women like her are able to do more than men when they are hell bent on getting their goal fulfilled, Khetu blew up one sapaat and was heading back because she was recognised but she goes back despite knowing that she will never come back alive and goes to the other sapaat and blows it up, which ends her life but she became amar! Even the symbolism of maa Durga and Kali was good! All in all best scene in weeks in my opinion!

It was very hard to pick dialog of week as it was all repetitive but when Chundawat ji said to all his solders yes we are less and strength and we do not have guns but we all will fight till our last breath my solders teer(arrows) chalao... that was way to emotional Chundawatji nailed it with his expression
.

Kamma Ghani Forum wasion !!! So this week was more tolerable than the previous one which was horrible. The highlight of this week was of course Khetu's re-entry.
To be honest, i was not a fan of her character and the way CVs show her at beginning of the week,i mean her "love" for Pratap disturbed me a lot as t's pure fiction of CVs, it didn't happened and instead they should concentrate on real facts.
But after Thursday epi, i respect this character and that would unfair not to give Khetu the title of "Veer Putri of the week". The title says all. Her patriotism is shown by her self-denial. She went alone without any fears, you really have guts to do that. As Rati said she is married to her mission, a wife is devotee to her husband, (the best example is Ajab De fasting for Pratap) so Khetu did the same : not be afraid of anything (despite being shot), without any fears ( she managed alone the mughals) but with courage and pride ! She completely devoted herself to her mission. Plus, the colour of the atire was RED, that makes me think of the godness Durga Ma who is dressed in red also. People adore her Shakti. i don't know if you agree with me, but i can relate Khetu to Durga Ma. Khetu fought fearlessly against the evil.it's like she had the Shakti. Plus we have also the woman figure which reminds us once again women did also fought equally as men for their nation. After all who can stop an angry woman??? lol ! Khetu is a fictional character, but she is an example of those many women who sacrifies themselves for their matruboomi. And a big salute to them šŸ‘!
I'm very thankful to CVs not to show Pratap- Khetu love story lol but unfortunalely after Rann Singh, this was the end of our Veer putri Khetu in our show. Their brave act should always be remembered.
Sorry if it was boring, your feebacks ( achi ya bura ) are the most welcome. With good luck, by next week we'll back on History according to the IV segments we got. I think Cvs decided to learn their history lessons. So till then, Jai Mewar, Jai EklingJi !!!!!

And the title goes to our very own Pratap - Ajabde

This week's irritating character was very tough for me since the good and bad sides of all my assumptions were showed. The week was full of exceptional bravery and courage. So this choice was very difficult. There were no irritants as such but yes i made this choice on the basis of their few dialogues and minute reactions. Though they were every bit of pride in the week, i personally did not like some of their behaviour. Their? Yes, this week the award goes to two people. AJABDE and PRATAP. Don't kill me after this but this is completely my personal opinion. Sorry if i offended anyone. Ajabde, because i cannot understand what kind of a wife she is! Where was that old brave warrior ajabde? Baijilal? Who never let anyone take her loved ones? This week i saw a meek ajabde who had no problems with some other girl have her eyes on pratap. She even accepted that! No sense of possessiveness? And pratap, oh mahn he was staring at khetu when she was dressed up and that bugged me so much! This week the irritants were not because of lack of sense but lack of past love! Pratap and Ajabde, where has your love gone? Both of you have no issues with some other girl entering the scene? Yes, during wars strategy is more important but that wont mean staring at someone so much in presence of your wife! Ajabde made her ready, good, humane but she acted as if her husband was free for any warrior girl also! This are my views and i am really very sorry if i made someone angry or offended someone. If i spoilt the NL also, i am sorry

Forum Waasiyon kaise hain sab log?? I hope ki sab log garmi sw zyaada humaare CVs se pareshaan hain. Ab CVs ki buraai nahi kar sakte warna next week bhi humko unki history jhelni padegi na
Chaliye toh lets get down to business

The only saving grace this week was Khetu and that too when she went for her mission and the way she fought and sacrificed herself for her motherland. Main zyaada details mein nahi jaungi because I feel Rati has said everything about this character in her analyis and her symbolism is bang on.
Yes there have been talks that Khetu's part was actually taken form one of the older folklore where Rajputana women actually fought and sacrificed themselves for their motherland I'm not a genius in history but where ever the CVs got this track from the ending was the only apt part of it. I detested the fact that they wanted to show a love story of sorts between Pratap-Khetu jaise ki uss Pratu ke deewaano ki kami hain na show mein but she would have been officially (unoffcially) the first deewaani of the grown up Pratap

Coming to the other side of it as usual it was a drag through and through - Pratap bana Rajni and akele hi Mughal soldiers ki usne ki dhulaayi

- CVs ko koi samajhaaye ki we have seen South Indian movies re wahan ke action style ko copy na kare please. The action that at a time would send my heart racing ab head ache deta hai mereko

The Rating for the week is 2 and the entire credit goes to Khetu. She was the only good thing for me in the entire week that too her sacrifice was the most impact ful event we had. Ajabde needs to stop shedding tears and actually don on the Baijilal avataar soon, Pratap stop being a One man Army and CVs please check out some seriously good historical blogs and references as Abhay our very own History_geek told us Mewar was well-equipped to fight the battle not like on the show they are sitting with mere bow and arrows

See you all next week

So we got just one PrAja scene this week( I mean just on one day)
It was a nice scene where we got to see them discuss about the growing problems of being able to keep up with the available food grains for a long period of time and being able to feed all the citizens and soldiers ample food...
The highlight of the scene was when Pratap came to know that Ajabde had not eaten anything since two days to give her contribution and save even that little food by staying hungry herself...we did see pride in his eyes when he looked at Ajabde..and then we got a hug too!
We got one more chhotu sa scene on the same day when Chakrapani came to inform them about the well being of everyone in the raj parivaar..
Ajabde got teary eyed on thinking about amar Singh but pratap consoled her and we got a hug there as well! 😊
Both of them were quite nice to see..they just showed the strong bond and understanding that they share and the care, concern and pride they have for each other

Ok...so my eyes did not catch any blooper..perhaps the CVs forgot to follow their barson ki parampara of showing wrong things or showing things and forgetting about them

So I take the biggest blooper as the very fact that our dear pratap and Ajabde are still roaming around in the fort even though it is very clear and evident that they are just not supposed to be still there 😔

I just hope that CVs realise that they have got to show real history!

Till then keep enjoying the forum discussions and the weekly NLs

So I actually noticed just one costume this week which I liked quite a lot...I guess it has been worn earlier as well...
It was worn by Pratap on Thursday I guess...
It was the purple coloured kurta with golden embroidery and detailing with a yellow coat kind of thing on the top..
He also had these really nice earrings on which I don't know why I really liked
He was also wearing a orange red pagdi and a goldenish kamarband
The costume was bright and vibrant and had a nice contrast which I personally liked quite a lot...
One more costume I liked a lot was worn by Ajabde on Thursday...
More than the costume I really liked how she was looking with her open hair...she was looking gorgeous!
She was wearing a pinkish purple blouse with golden details and prints on it and with a yellow dupatta and really beautiful jewellery...the jewellery brought out the grace and grandness of the costume and it looked really pretty

*Unfortunately I could not find pics for the costumes if anyone has these ones please do send them to me and I will update them.

Hey guys!! So this is the recycled costume...not of the week actually but just in general..

This is Phool kunwar at PrAja sagaai

And this is maan kunwar wearing the same

I guess that when maan went to marwar to her uma mausi as she had said which I guess was very soon forgotten..and so..maan saw this dress there and took it for herself

Mewar Marwar clothes exchange

I just don't get the fact that how did maan actually fit into jannats clothes...but perhaps this will always remain a mystery for us

So we had another week of CVs history being served in silverware to us and the only saving grace of the week (my personal opinion) was Khetu's sacrifice. Yes we had Praja scene in which we come to know about Ajabde's fasting and stuff but I won't count it because PRaja are not supposed to be in Chittor!!!!

Toh mere pyaare CVs this week my message to you is this - agar Real history nahi dikha sakte then Please do not show anything that demeans it. Chittor was well equipped to fight teh battle against Mughals jo unhone kiya tha but you adamant on showing them as the weaker side which is not feasible to me.
You are showing Akbar as this great strategist which he was but Pratap was as good as him and he was better than him but he was not directly involved in the Chittor sieze rather he was at Kumbhalgarh. Show Jaimal and Patta leading the forces like they really did and stop making a mockery of our history

PEACE!!!!

Maha Rana Pratap Singh is not called Pratap in the Mughal accounts. In those accounts, he is called by the name -> "Rana Kika". Kika means a small(brave) boy.
This was actually how his Bhil friends fondly used to call him.

In Rajputana, the language changes...
I mean, in Marwar he was called Giga.. And, in Malwa he was called Kuka.
