Karan Patel on rumours of trouble with girlfriend Amita Chandekar and how they aren't rehearsing together for the dance show.
Karan Patel and girlfriend Amita Chandekar were very excited a month ago when they were approached for Nach Baliye 3 .
But last few weeks apparently have not been the best for this couple. There's buzz of a major tiff between the two. So much so that they have not been rehearsing for the dance show together. But when BT contacted Karan he had different story to tell...
Is all well between Amita and you?
Everything's going great. In fact, it's only going to get better.
But there were rumours of you not being on talking terms. There couldn't have been smoke without fire...
There's absolutely nothing like that. Couples rehearsing for the dance show do get stressed because of the competetive nature of the show. People tend to get aggressive and have little arguments but that's only for that much time. But thank God, nothing like that has happened to us so far.
There's buzz you don't interact even on the sets of Kasturi ?
That's because we play characters from two different families and have different shoot timings, not because we're not talking to each other!
Since you are a trained dancer, has any other contestant shown displeasure at that?
I think we're all mature people here. Everybody's more of friends rather than contestants.
Do you think it's fair?
I don't see a problem in that.
TRPs of your show Kasturi are falling...
See, everything goes through its ups and downs and I'm sure even Kasturi will have its ups. I've been getting good response from the audience.
