"PEOPLE WHO SAY, 'I DON'T LIKE THE ATTENTION', ARE LIARS," SAID ARJUN KAPOOR
Arjun Kapoor said that he enjoys being in the limelight as he has worked hard to get fame and recognition as an actor. Arjun, 30, who is the son of producer-director Boney Kapoor and his former wife Mona, said that he enjoys the attention that comes with being a celebrity.
"I have worked hard for this attention and if I will get afraid of it then what's the point. People who say, 'I don't like the attention', are liars. In our profession, we work hard to get love and acclaim and if you start saying that you don't like it, it doesn't make sense," Arjun told PTI.
"I know how to deal with it. Some people can't deal with it and that might be the reason why they don't enjoy it. It is unfair for me comment on anyone else, but I love this attention and like connecting with fans," he said. Arjun, however, agrees that he now thinks twice before making a public appearance. "The world has not changed for me. It's just that now I have to think a bit more before going out," he said.
He will soon start working on director R Balki's film. "My next is R Balki's film opposite Kareena (Kapoor Khan). I will start the work on the project by the end of this month. It's an urban romantic film and I am very thrilled to team up with Balki and Kareena. They are the two people I always wanted to work with," said the
Gunday actor. "I would love to go to Kerala or Goa or probably choose some Delhi roads for a ride as Mumbai may not be a good place for me to go for a cycle ride," he said at the event.
