i am with u on this even if gurudutt came back to life to play devs role(i am sure he would have played it good) i still wont accept him like sholay......remake comaprison is very natural when devdaas was made people compared it to dilip kumar version..........lots of people liked the movie as it had good jewlery ,sets clothes top actors....technical sureriority to 1955 movie which was so primitive time................but ask any critic sharukh was compared to dilip kumar so was ashwarya and madhuri to suchitra sen and vijyantimala ...............original is original unfortunately.................if even with technical brlliance and best star cast ........ram gopal verma could not recreate sholay..............how can kaccon do that she failed the first test by choosing the wrong actors.......................so we will compare them to old pair they asked for it..................and u r right we should be mad at kaccon and all bhootnis r right from june since memory loss track messed up the story...................

Zareen I am still not digesting the fact that Spu Sur are not playing DK jodi.. I feel theirpresense and I don't see these bacchas I just look out for DK in the whole serial.. My hub says I am insane when it comes to Kaajjal seriail and DK jodi 😕.. but chalega i just don't see these two playing JK thats the bottomline!!!!

The new members here are not looking at the acting skills yet...They are just looking at the cute factor...That is what everyone looks at...If they had seen the flawless acting done by Apurva-Surveen...then only they would have understood us!!! Its just hopeless for this show now...I am only watching it for time pass and I am sure all of us especially the old members like us..the crazy fans of the old and golden DK are just bearing it till apurva comes in another show...

I agree with you Mona. If they had seen Apu and Surveen they would know how difficult it is to fill their shoes. Not that I'm against the new ones. I don't hate them. It's just difficult for me to accept them.

The new guy Kinshuk is adorable but as we all know, Apu was getting bored by the character Dev and thats why he quit and then there was no other choice but Surveen quit too I think 😕 adn then they made the reincarnation track with 2 new actors which are also doing a good job for their age. 😊

he is indeed very very cute.. this funky look suits him very much and i am gonna compliment him and the girl that so far they are doing brilliant acting.. so thumbs up to their performance..

Sorry if i am offending anyone but i have been reading that ppl are making fun of his name and the way he is and comparing him. I am sorry but no one has a right to do that, everyone is different and is blessed with different abilities* So please stop comparing. I know u all are missing the old DEV but that does not mean that we don't give this new guy a chance to prove himself. I am sorry but whoever is doing this is acting very immature and being disrepectful. Just for example: put yourself in his position and being an actor and made fun of your name etc.

I eally do think new acors deserve a chance but in maybe in some new roles.The moment they step into some other shoes the ineveitable comparision surely takes place and to some extent they themselves draw it.I do feel sorry for them but sometimes we really have to be a little extraordinary if we have to take over from some very talent stars and In this case both the leads are less than ordinary....it was a bad idea to cast newbies as replacements it draws a lot of comparisions .Maybe if this was a new serial they might have been encouraged more but sadly here they will be never be accepted as DK.........Life is tough!
