This chapter for me was about realizations and understandings, especially the first part. I really loved Khushi's thoughts as they drive down to that sign. She's thinking about what was missing. You did it so damn well, without using many words- like right here:

"Yes one can. But in the ten years I have known my wife... she has never thought about the weather for ten whole minutes in silence."

"Maybe that's because I have never told you..." She shrugged. However she bit her lip, as he nodded, continuing to look straight ahead.

Just after that sentence, that sharp pause is so poignant for the reader to feel along with Arnav and Khushi. And you follow it up with a sentence that has both of them understanding why it hurts, why there's that gap between them. This is what you do so well, Di! You make us take this journey with them, have all of those realizations. And those led to an ease in their conversation that I hadn't seen in this story- a comfort, a sense of what it must have been like for them. The light teasing and the subtle touches and the warmth that has been gone is slowly seeping back, and I just love it!

And with that warmth... came that kiss. Hell, that was some kiss. It was heady, passionate and so very very short. You really, truly bring it with the sexual tension between them- that husky whisper in her ear... uff. But beyond that, it was the smile that filled her face that really did it. That was such a powerful moment, when he notices that her smile is just so happy, and so genuine, and you feel how that affects him and ah, you did such a good job!

I loved the glimpse of Sofia- I can't wait to see her more. In that brief excerpt, you could tell that she was someone that mkes a difference when you meet her. Maybe not overtly, but somehow, in her own subtle way, she changes lives just by spreading her warmth.

I loved this chapter. I liked the tentative warmth that's made an appearance after so long, the fact that they seem so much lighter in this update. You've shown that subtle shift so well. They aren't out of the woods yet but... one more step forward :)

Except you left me with that goddamn cliffhanger. That is my only complaint. Hmph.

I loved Sofia Airo Raizada. Grace personified. That "welcome home" was so warm. The acceptance and inclusiveness conveyed by those words was so heart warming. There are some people you meet in life who instantly endear themselves to you and Khushi's heart, seemingly bereft of maternal love, responds achingly sweetly.

I love this shift in their relationship in this chapter. The easy camaraderie, the intense awareness, the poignant reminiscing, all leaving me with a feeling of tenderness for them. Their shared laughter wonderful to hear. Arnav giving solace to Khushi for the loss of "their mother" was moving, as was his acknowledgement of his wife having set aside her own feelings for his sister and him.

Jigs the kiss was totally dhak dhak, but her tenderly exploring his face left me melting. It was one of those moments when you look at a loved one and feel that intense rush of feeling which says "I LOVE this person"

And now my dil is dhak dhaking for an entirely different reason! Usska jawab kya hoga?! The streets of Hollywood are paved with the shattered dreams of many, but I want the future of my favourite couple to glitter like the stars surrounding them on that boulder.

Jigs, finally a light update.

Sofia was indeed such a good and noble person. I loved how Khushi and Sofia bonded right from the first meeting. I can imagine the kind of loss Khushi faced after Sofia died.

And looks like both Arnav and Anjali have taken after their mother in their loving nature and hospitality.

And Jigs, such a beautiful location you selected for them to visit at night.

Now both Arnav and Khushi have started to open up to each other more than earlier. Loved this positive development in their married life. But the elephant in the room is still there - BABY.

What will Khushi answer him? Cant believe you stopped at such a cliff hangar!!!!

Thxxx Jigs for such a wonderful update..I love Arnav's mom..she is the best.. loved their first meeting..

Now I am more curious about the Gupta's especially Payal.. Kushi has such a sweet dadi who loves Arnav so much..thats very cute..now with this new hair style, Arnav will impress her more ;-)

Hollywood park mein romance,...haiii marr gayi mai..

and the last and most important question.. I am sooo eager to hear Kushi's answer...this will decide the next part of the story I guess...I just dont want their LA stay to end..San Diego will bring tension except for the sweet Dadi..

A very light chapter👏

They are communicating like normal couple and that is enchanting and welcoming change that will change the stale relationship in to fresh crisp stage with the attraction still intact. ❤️

There is something about knowing the truth that your husband still finds you attractive after so many years of wedding isn't it?

The change of place along with much required quality time is doing great wonders.

Emotions are flowing between them and is felt by us. Loved the mama Raizada. As a matter of fact the Raizada clan that you have shown is really a very lovable family. A dream family😃

Khushi has so many issues and differences with her own family even after so many years of wedding. 😕 Looks like they did not accept Raizadas easily Was it because mama Raizada was not Indian?😕

And you had to stop at the boulder with the question whose answer will decide the future of this relation.

PS- Your quote: Isn't that the base of relation any relation. 😃 With some people distance and time does not matter. You speak to them after 5 years; but when you meet those years just vanishes.

Sorry jigs, had a busy busy week. I read the chapter as soon as you posted it but couldn't comment till much later.

Loved that the thaw has set in, though you left us on a cliff hanger. That was a tough question posed by Arnav. Wish Sofia was there for khushi at this juncture. She was quite an influence in khush's life, though for a short period. So life is not only about relationships between lovers/ couples. Every person in our circle impacts us. Khushis own family doesn't seem very warm or close. Can't wait for that relationship to be revealed. Great going jigs, you keep us on the edge of our seats. Look forward to your date tomorrow. Full on emotional n touching update jigs 😊 the way you carved words to express each n every emotion is treat !! Arnav n khushi both are strong characters & you have wonderfully described how they are facing the circumstances either related to their marriage or their child ...!! It is very difficult for parents to lose their unborn child but still they are trying to overcome pain for each other... I am feeling content after reading that they are opening up to each other, they are coming closer, giving their real smiles..!!

"HOPE" that is mere word but it is giving life to marital relationship of arnav n khushi ... Love their teasing,their laughter and every emotion that you put into this update 😊 well i also hope that they sort out things and come together... The old memories of their first parent meeting, their marriage are lovely 😳

I wish everything goes smooth in their relation now ..!! Thanks for such great update jigs, you are magical writer.. 👏 will wait for next tuesday to read more 😛
