the aishwarya case

pls tell me wat had happened,i heard only 1 line of aishwarya's singin,ke dil to dukha hai,humne magar socha hai,i thought he was terrific n shud not hav been voted out but didnt saw the whole drama,wat had happened.?

It was a very sad episode.

That day was a yellow card elimination episode between Abhijit, Aishwarya, and Paresh.

Aishwarya and Paresh sang terrifically. Abhijit sang "Khoya Khoya Chand" from the film Kala Bazaar. Abhijit sang this song very badly.

When it came time for judging, Alka Yagnik and Jagjit Singh gave Abhijit the green card "without any doubts", which I felt was not really fair. Abhijit sang "Sun Ri Sakhi" on the day before and sang absolutely brilliantly, but sang "Khoya Khoya Chand" abosulutely pathetically.

AY and JS said that there is a tie between Paresh and Aishwarya. They said they will sing a common song "Kal Ho Na Ho theme song". However, AY and JS threw the judging decision to JL and AS.

Aishwarya and Paresh both sang fantastically. However, L voted for Paresh, AS voted for Paresh, but Jatin voted for Aishwarya. Majority wins, and Paresh gets the green card.

At the end of the competition, everybody was singing the Kal Ho Na Ho song. In the middle, Aishwarya broke down. After getting himself back together, he sang "sach hai ke dil ko dukha hai, humne magar socha hai" and then broke down again, where the episode ended.

I felt Abhijit should have been outed that day, as he is very inconsistent from his subsequent performances. Himesh won't let this go.

Oh, I am glad that Abhijit is out. As Kishore_bhakta says, abhijit is very inconsistent in his singing.

yes! i saw that episode too. i have never followed this show regularly but had watched few episodes.

i too felt they were giving too much importance to paresh x-factor and abhijit sang really bad but alka just gave him the green card because he is otherwise a good singer. that's so unfair. judgement should be taken accrodance to that particular day's performance. poor aishwarya!!

I thought Abhijit's "Sun Ri Sakhi" was terrific. I still don't understand how he got a yellow card that particular day, coz' Hemachandra (who got the green) sang a "very ordinary" pehla pehla pyar hai. I thought he did sing the song pretty shallow. He might be a great singer, but on that particular day, Abhijit was far better than Hemachandra. So, that was the 1st "Judgemental Error" by Jagjit and Alka. 2nd was on the next day of the show when, Aishwarya was left out.

Personally thinking, Aishwarya ain't a great singer or anything, he would have been out anyways (in the later stages).

Abhijit on the other hand is a very restricted singer. His range of songs ain't very diverse. One such example is Yesudas or Sukhwinder Singh. But Abhijit is exemplary in his own style of singing which was evident in "Sun Ri Sakhi".

Lets see how far he goes..

I agree, Aishwarya wasnt all that great. In fact if not for himesh talking about him all the time, he would be one of the singers who lost out. Paresh was definitely good in that kal ho na ho song, and since the choice was between paresh and aish, the judges chose paresh.
Abijit is good in those arrahman songs, may be if he sticks to it he may go to the next round

u cant question himeshji,i believe him,n he will prove wat aishwarya is,i believe aishwarya will show his colours in bollywood
