The Moon to His Sun
The Calm to His Storm
The Bread to His Butter
The Yin to His Yang
The Lyrics to His Song

Alone they are incomplete.
Lonely and irrevocably lost
Together they are just them...
Perfectly Imperfect...
Imperfectly Perfect...

Just how far both of them have come , not just as MaNan but as Manik and Nandini. Sigh. Slayed.
Usually a show loses that flow after the initial rush but it's kinda marvelous how KY2 managed to thread it all together for a love story with MaNan.

@AY: WORD with what u said!! attraction and desire ACCENT their love..exactly..it's an important aspect but not the only one and how, oh HOW glad are we that it isn't cheapened..the girl doesn't wake up the next day feeling guilty that she let go for a moment or two; the boy doesn't feel all responsible or go all possessive hubby like and vice versa, in denial over that one night.
i LOVE that.
Not that I advocate lack of responsibility, but just that here, desire is seen in conjunction with their love; not something that is added as a masala ingredient for some trps..lol

And oh my god, that scene, i laugh every time i watch it, the way he just couldn't take it anymore, and he RAN, he literally RAN up the stairs after her, what was he going to do, I wonder?
LOL

Last weeks episodes have been fantastic! That Back hug!! OMFGS!! When Manik pulls Nandini back and holds her from behind "I'm already missing you" and how Nandini leads back in his warmth!!! That morning after voice, Manik had, the deep smooth baritone! Sends shivers down my spine! And Nandini, a girl who isn't afraid to express her love anymore, watching her man with glow in her eyes, when he told Navya "She is my girlfriend, don't annoy her"

The laughter last week, the teasing Manik did, the numerous "Happy birthday's" I could watch those scenes all over again/

See that is the thing naa, Geet...in the so called social responsibility of showing every act of desire being a mistake or leading to instant or unwanted pregnancies, they nullify the mature exploring of it...they never celebrate the beauty of it cuz of the repressed ideologies and lack of proper discussion surrounding it.

Which is where these writers and PaNi earn my admiration for managing to make desire look beautiful onscreen...never some HAWW or tacky thing...but a valid, beautiful accent to the joy of love...the embracing of that so openly in a joyous fashion...communicated through the way they glow as they talk to each other about love or intimacy...is where this show scores.
