Am I frustrated with Kabir and Ananya? Of course I am. If only they spoke to each other and got to know each other they'd probably discover that they can love and cherish one another for life.
But am I frustrated with the CVs. Absolutely not. Their portrayal of the journey towards love has been one of the most realistic ones I have seen in recent times. Human beings are not sensible esp in the matters of love. Haven't we all seen two people taking years to come to terms with being in love with one another and/or breaking up and coming back multiple times? And when you take a man with loads of emotional baggage and an impulsive woman the situation becomes infinitely more complex.
Ananya's action
I found that rant super realistic. Heck even I have ranted about 'hating' someone I actually loved because I was hurt by his actions. The only creative liberty they took was the place she chose to rant in. Kabir's office?! Really?
Kabir's reaction
The man's heart was wounded by her words. He had let his guard down, allowed her to enter in his life. In the past she had shown faith in him when the world didnt (Tarini's case). At that time he had not expected her to have faith. But now he had begun having expectations from her. But she goes on to confirm his worst fears - that she has the same opinion of him as the rest of the world. So what does he do? Activates his defence mechanism, in fact takes it to a higher level. Decided to show her that he doesn't care a bit about her opinion.
So I am excited to see how kabir and ananya make their way through this mess - to each other, to their ultimate destination
