Personally, one of the reasons I've always been so drawn to Swara and Laksh is because they know each other for who they are. It's not about the outside looks I feel. Swara met Lucky initally and she didn't like him. Then she was introduced to Lakshya and found him fake. And then finally she met Laksh (unlike others, I feel like Laksh is both Lucky and Lakshya at the same time as he's able to combine Lucky's conniving nature -- as evident by the whole Shekher-Sumi pandit matter-- with Lakshya's goodness -- his want to see Swara happy). After living with Laksh, she realized that she liked both sides of him. Same thing happened with Laksh. Again, I'm probably one of the few who felt like Laksh love realization wasn't that rushed. He liked that Swara wore modern clothes, sure, but he loved how she was modern yet traditional like him, how she always called him out on his bullshit, how she continually put others above herself. That's why a) I also liked the Swara-Sumi convo you've written aptly about and b) I feel like Ragini has no chance of getting Laksh because as you've said, it more than just about the clothes, it's about the inner character of Swara's that Ragini does not possess.

Secondly, I could be completely off-base with this because I haven't seen epi or promo yet, but just speaking in generally, I actually didn't mind DP acceptance of SwarYa. To me, from just reading the written updates, his acceptance of Swara seems to be hinged upon an appreciation for Swara's personality rather than outward appearance. Idk could be wrong though.

I'd also like to say that in general, we SwarYa fans are in for a long ride. I always knew, from the day the MF was introduced, SwarYa were going to have problems with them. It seems like AP been turned negative for this reason as well. She't not going to be as helpful to Swara in adjusting as she was initially either I think. SwarYa's marriage is gonna be a huge test for them -- if it happens at all. I feel like there's so many if's and buts present than their marriage seems really far away. I'm convinced that Swara is not going to be able to adjust. Or if she does adjust, it'll kill her personality -- the very reason why Laksh fell in love with her in the first place.

And finally, I very much enjoy reading and agreeing with your pieces!

sidenote-- I think the word/ reasoning you're referring to in your rape paragraph, is the rape culture. The reasons you listed there just perpetuate the rape culture. But then again, it's just semantics and I understand what you're saying :)

So coming to the topic...

Ragini thinks Laksh is a cheap boy , that will like her because of clothes she doesn't understand what love is !

I pity her mind...

Swara changed her clothes but she is the same person ! I don't have any problem with her clothes . But it would look bad like everyone is wearing traditional clothes and Swara only her wearing modern clothes.
