just watched the episode,I dont know if I am wrong but I think I saw this actor in Qubool Hai. I think its the same actor who played Faiz in Qubool Hai. He was negative there too.

You are correct, it's the same actor who played Faiz in QH and I think he definitely will be negative in JR, just like he was in QH.
