that's a bad bad idea... why do they have to say it''s a HAHK sequel? ... movie will be pressed with expectations and Salman fans bashing RK will reach to another high

well on my perspective...iconic films of BW should not be touched again...it should be remain evergreen and legendary...HAHK 2 will not work in this era...none of the current gen actors/actress has the charm of young salman and the grace...beauty and elegance of young madhuri as prem-nisha or even if they are playing their kids...the film is not known for salman-madhuri but prem-nisha...the chemistry salman-madhuri had in the film was top notch...no current gen actors/actress can create the chemistry salman-madhuri shared as prem-nisha...so a ATBB legendary film should remain untouched...there is no need a sequel

Salman may be a superstar today, but HAHk became a rage due to Madhuri. The kind of excitement that was for Madhuri during HAHK is unparalleled. So the bigger question is not who will replace Salman, but who will replace Madhuri.

there is something call chemistry b/w prem-nisha that makes this film works and the credit should go to salman-madhuri to portray prem-nisha

madhuri's rage in the film was for her dancing performance in Didi Tera Devar and her ourfit in the song and of course her beauty and smile...what makes HAHK works was the subtle and innocent love story of prem-nisha who is ready to sacrifice their love for their loved ones...that emotional connect of the love story made the film a all time success...take away salman or madhuri from the film...make it a salman film or madhuri film during that era...the film is a flop...what connects in the film was prem-nisha...which is played by salman-madhuri...

Rajshri Productions: No sequel to 'Hum Aapke Hain Koun'

There are no immediate plans to develop a sequel of 1994 Salman-Madhuri starrer hit 'Hum Aapke Hain Koun...!', said Rajshri Productions.

There were rumours that actor Ranbir Kapoor would replace Salman as Prem in the sequel of the blockbuster family drama.

"As of now there are no such plans of making a sequel of Hum Aapke Hain Koun...!. There is nothing like that happening. These are just rumours," Rajshri Productions General Manager P K Gupta said.

Gupta, however, said work is in full swing on their film Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, starring Salman and Sonam Kapoor in the lead.

"Almost 80 per cent of the shoot is over. Some scenes and a song sequence are pending. We are hopeful that the shoot will be over in two months," Gupta said about the Diwali release.

Salman and director Sooraj Barjatya last worked together on 1999 film Hum Saath Saath Hain.
