I felt the dahi handi scene shown on Monday, left much to be desired. Inspite of those long looks MP exchanged, it somehow lacked the intensity of before.

The 'thanda'ness of the whole sequence was further highlighted when they replayed the MA dahi handi scene. In comparison, the latter was sizzling and passionate!

I guess we were expecting fireworks but only got a flicker!

Well naturally there can't be any bonfire like before (16th ~ 22nd August). They were innocently falling for each other so it was sizzling hot. Now they are in a web of misunderstandings and both feel sad thinking they are not wanted. So I think a flicker ( I would say a torch light) is a pretty high achievement for current situation. Michi just can't help being a fire no matter how sad the situation is 😊

Just what I think, Pippa :)

I found the scene hot, hot, hot. The silences, the stares - they said so much more than obvious actions...

Hmm well I think both the situations had their significances...Back then it was a natural bonding ....something that happens with time and togetherness throw in a couple of near death situations n you have it....his accident , her getting burnt it all led to a mental understanding though not voiced yet felt deeply.....as for the Monday epi well darling it was all a set up thanx to Mishraji else Michi wud be history...they both are hesitant now not to mention distant and misunderstood.....how could any emotional spark, light in such conditions yet Milind's steady stares and Prachi's occassional glances did say a lot more than words...I agree with Magno a torch is rightly required at the moment. 😊

Ahem, I disagree.... 😉

MISHA didn't have to hide their attraction during their hot and passionate stares. On the other hand, MICHI are undergoing a personal crisis in their lives, because each is wrongly assuming that the other doesn't reciprocate their feelings. Nonetheless, they couldn't help but forget their distances and differences for those few moments because they are falling truly in love. Each one depicted their heart's desires through their glances and smiles without seeming out of limit. I thought the whole sequence was very appropriate to their situation

Further, Ayesha was brought up in the Chawl and hence she grew as an extrovert with a lot of attitude and no inhibitions to dance closely with Milind. On the contrary, Prachi grew up as a protected and deeply loved kid who was unaware of these uninhibited festivities. Still, she sportively joined along with her hubby in the 'shoulder rubbing' dancing 😆, which made those few moments extra special. It symbolically denoted Prachi's acceptance into Milind's world...I LOVED IT 👏

I am willing to give MICHI that extra time for them to grow in their relationship, thereby coming much closer

I do see the point your point Pippa Ji! And for me the 10th Sept Epi despite the dahi handi scene, seemed to jus kill all the excitement ... and to be honest, am not looking forward to the epi today at all.

Reasons may be many... but for me... that one episode jus left me craving for it to end , by the time the DH scene ended...

Shabbir looked terribly bored in the breakfast scene as did the others...! And in the DH scene, the poor man looked tired to say the least! Must have been an effort to get the human pyramid thing right and the shot as well!

Something lacked... cant place a finger, but something was lacking...

Hope the future episodes have something in store that will get my interest back again...!

Even the posts I made abt the dance scene were an effort to be honest... It was more of a viewpoint shared after reading other posts... and in response...:as opposed to something one would want to share immediately....out of interest...

Sorry, jus my 2 cents... No offense to anyone

I have to agree Something was amiss in this year's Dahi Handi... but then i convinced myself saying...Milind has changed too...He has sobbered down. He has become responsible and no more that Bindas, Care a Damn attitude Milind. I thought the reason that Milind didnt seem so excited abt the Dahi Handi was because he was more overwhlemed at Prachi's gesture than breaking the Handi. The Josh with friends had given way to a feeling of contentment being with his wife on this day.... He wasnt stubborn abt breaking the Handi like last time because Ayesha challenged him...but this time around he knew his Wife supported him... That was the difference. You are more calm when u have dearest one supporting you than challenging you.

And another factor was the place and the crowd... it was far to Sophisticated for an event like Dahi Handi. The Milind who broke it wasnt the Chawl ka Milind, but the Business Tycoon(i felt so😕) The crowd merely clapped for him... in the Chawl it would been far more electrifying with so many ppl cheering him on. I so wished that the Dahi Handi would happen in the Chawl... but what i liked the most abt it was they managed to bring Milind's world and Prachi's world together and this was the best that it could be.

And I think the importance in terms of filming it is also different....Very Different. The 1st time around had to be special... because the Hero cum Star of the show was being unveiled.... so there was a lot of style and drama in that scene.

Despite me feeling a bit let down on the excitement front.... i convince myself saying this Janamastami was far more special to Milind because he had his Family with him supporting him... His Dad and Wife were proud of his capabilities...His Family has taken priority over his friends... and i guess if Milind is a Content man at the end of the day... I am ok
