Indian Idol or Regionallism? - Page 2

Every candidate do have regionalism, little less or little more, however, Prashant is the one who was criticized badly for it. I strongly protest against that. This is one example.

The more you guys put a wrong argument, the more I get going against Amit. If you intend to say Prashant a regional singer, then I have more reasons to say Amit a regional singer.

1. Amit is the one who sang regional songs on stage, in Nepali and Khasi language.

2. Amit is the brand ambassador of Meghalaya (I don't know what this Meghalaya Brand is, though)

3. Amit goes with regional dressing on his stage performance to assure his regional affection stronger.

4. Amit said in his last stage show - Until now, I was singing for myself, nowI will sing for whole region. If I be indian idol, then I will sing for whole india and the world (that can literally mean that he is regional singer until he wins the title, )

FYI, I am also Amit fan, but I don't tolerate if you push Prashant away with some untrue allegation. I am just showing you anyone can counter you with similar allegation, be it true or untrue. Chill out.

those who were voted out were also from a region and those who are in is from a diferent region, everybody is from a certain region.

SONY tv is not dumb like us, its not looking for singing talent, its lookiing for lots and lots of money that gets drained in due to regional votes. it will not change its strategy because its the only way it can earn money.

sometimes i think why people are draining alot of money for SONY TV when they have nothing to get from it, except a person who becomes a indian idol to get a car and one crore with a one year music album contract.
