🤢When I saw one by one the best ones were going out, I was wondering if we are really looking for Indian Idol or this is all about regionalism! As part of a region, I vote for my region whether that is the best singer or not, just to put our images high we just cast our vote to the person who does not have the best voice. This is not healthy competition. We have to think a different strategy.🤢

if voting by region helps people in that region to come together for something good, instead of fighting, then what the heck, let it be.
Problem hai ...this is not a platform to promote deshbhakti .....for that the region should make him the leader ...here we want to watch a good singer who sings in sur ,is versatile and is a playback material ....singer who we want to hear again and again ......unfortunately , we r going to get stuck with another Sandeep Acharya ( looking at the crowd in Darjeeling !!!)
Now II3 has become mockery of a musical show ....already comedy circus took a dig at II3 by mentioning " aajkal TRP barhane ke liye judges mein fights hona zaroori hai "😆.....
There is no morality issue. Indian Idol and all reality shows promote regionism. There is no criteria for voting. We can argue as much as we want but the truth is there is only a set of audience who vote based on that particular day's rendition, all others vote based on regionism, beauty, dance, masti etc.
As soon as we see a contestant we utter 'Oh that pretty girl', 'that handsome guy', 'the one from Assam', 'Bikaner wala guy', 'apna kancha'. We put tag on each contestant and unknowingly we bring the bias through gender, region or looks.
