I liked Raman's approach of dealing with Adi.. He did not scold him, in fact he did not even have a very firm talk with him, he calmly listened to his son's thoughts and then explained him calmly that his mother was not wrong too, hence making a way for mother and son duo to patch up.
Adi himself accepted his mistake otherwise am sure, Raman would have made him realize his mistake too in the same way.
By doing this Raman has won his son's trust, hence making himself apprpachable. Now Adi will come around with all his problems to Raman and share stuff with him just how he did today about working on the project with Vinni only. This will help Raman to keep a check on his son 24*7 and stop him from going in wrong directions.
The only place where Raman went wrong today was, that instead of hatching a plan and sending away ladies to SPA so that Adi enjoys with his "good friend", he could have talked with Ishita and explained her things and ask her to take things lightly, as she has made an opinion on Vinnie just after listening to one sentence of her's. Ishita was never like this specially with kids. She would have happily complied with Vinnie coming over to their house for project, had Raman explained her. This step might give wrong ideas in Adi's head, so the approach is good but how he is executing should also be taken care of.
