I disagree a bit tbh. He has tried different stuff but ever since his more experimental stuff doesn't get enough appreciation, he entirely sticks to standard masala stuff.

He has done good stuff like Khamoshi, HDDCS, Tere Naam, Phir Milenge, Saajan, Babul, Baghban and a lot of other films where he did different things with his role. He is labelled as a limited actor and a superstar which limits him severely lately but I have a feeling he is trying to do interesting stuff like a PRDP now.

While Aamir and SRK work with Chopras and Hirani . Salman makes movies with debutant directors . Salman is now acting opposite a little girl in a film . What more risk is needed.
