Dev is just a carbon copy of NT.. par gusse ke mamle main shaed bap pe gaya hoga..
like u said he deserves to be called as NT's own son.. he has the rights to throw attitudes.. as he is youngest but he never did.. it was the circumstances that forced him to be brash and fanataic

I dont think he himself would have differentiated had he known the truth.....But Karan turned out to be so money minded..

Well said Shanti ji...indeed...as Anu said- he was her carbon copy...and that is something both of them can be very proud of.

Just thinking about these two brings tears to my eyes...it was so good to see them together in the video you posted earlier today...they had amazing chemistry...undoubtedly the best mother-son jodi ever...my heart cried out when NT mom was sacrificed...it was such a big loss...I always missed her so so much...How her son needed her at every moment...poor baby...

It was a beautiful relationship they shared...they understood one another so well - nothing ever had to be said....they were each other's lives...support...reason to find a bit of happiness, a ray of sunshine in life....

I miss it so much!

Thank you for this post.

Love,
Dev Ki Deewani,

That was an amazing Mother-son relationship I've ever seen onscreen. NT was never that typical mother you get to see onscreen. She handled her family and the family business with equal elan and yet had the softness and strictness of a mother. She completely doted on Dev and even he loved her a lot, but inititally he used to upset her by being rude to her

There were many tender scenes between the two of them. When he comes to know the truth abt the mahadosh, he sees NT's snap and feels bad for being rude to her and the moment NT walks into the room, he just hugs her so tenderly without giving her any explanation. NT was so confused with his behaviour and typically DPS does things without explanation. That was a really tender mother-son scene and the other one was in the hospital when NT was dying and Dev was so helplessly trying to stop her from dying and she is more worried about him and Kajjal's misunderstanding. Really beautiful scenes between the two of them.

Even Panna Chachi was very fond of Dev and was a good mother figure to him. I loved the way she would scold him and he would sheepishly listen with his head down. Would not even utter a word 😃

Oh I hv always Maintained that Dev-NT r the best on-screen mother-son combination I hv ever seen 😳 ...there was no formality in their relationship 😳NT always used to understand dev's dil ki baat even if he doesn't speak 😳 and Dev always needed his mother's lap whever he used to b sad 😳
