"Nach baliye 7" has been in the news for its contestants' stellar performances and the alleged tantrums they come with.
After Karishma Tanna-Upen Patel, Rashami Desai and husband Nandish Sandhu have reportedly refused to perform one of the weekday tasks.
"Rashmi Desai was not at all interested in interacting with media. Other couple participants like Himmanshoo-Amruta, Upen-Karishma and Aishwariya-Rohit gave their interviews together, but Rashmi and Nandish initially started giving interviews separately. Later on, they interacted together," Daily Bhaskar quoted a source as saying.
Popular pair Upen-Karishma didn't give much time to the media, they stepped in late and left early. Meanwhile, Nandish refused to participate in the paper dance activity as he found it too 'kiddish', the eye witness further elaborated.
Rashami has earlier drawn flak for faking an ankle injury. Also, a few days ago, it was reported she is to demand an apology from Nandish for abandoning her mid-way into the marriage, in one of the episodes.
Interestingly, a few weeks ago, Upen and Karishma came under the scanner for their high-handedness. Word has it that the two have been throwing their weight around on the sets and refusing to actively participate in the challenges thrown at them by the makers.
Additionally, they were allegedly found resorting to unfair means for the tasks given to them."The other couples have seen Upen and Karishma cheating during the weekly tasks. There was a time when Upen used to store all his answers in his phone and would keep it somewhere. He would quietly ask Karishma about it and she will check all his answers to eventually win the task," an insider told DNA.
