Deepika is the girl who when she burst into the modeling scene..within that one year she was seen in the biggest commercials,seen on every runway The Khans and several directors wasted no time in approaching her..top cricketers made their move..several male models say they dated her .She has dated some of the most eligible bachelors in the country.No one except Aish has been called most beautiful by almost every one in the Film industry.

Kjo was on a show(dedicated to her stardom by Anupama Cohpra) where he said that after Aish, Deeps had the beauty which was the only USP she needed.

She is a girl you say who looks white at her father's private party and shades darker in Piku, than all the on sets pics of the film, we have seen.She has done that for several such films in 2010 and millions have seen her!

Use logic and reason😳

People keep making these threads..did it have any effect on her popularity

why do all spend so much time on her!THINK

I think she and Gauri have done some whitening chemical peel. That's why they are so oily and have practically NO eyebrows 🤢🤢

I don't understand why she white skin herself though since she looks way better in being dusky than like this. But it's mostly the society's fault. They keep saying white skin to describe beauty and make others look insecure or/and not good enough. I keep hearing such statements these days. It's sickning. 🤢

There's such a thing called photoshop, flash and lighting when pictures are being clicked. She seemed dusky enough to me in her IIFA candid pics. The best way to know the skin color of these celebs is to watch them in candid photos/videos (not movies/commercials...BW celebs are lightened there as well).

Thank god for posting this topic. I thought I was the only one who thought so. I watched Piku the other day and observed transition of her skin color throughout the movie. Specially compare the scene when she complains about the message her baba sends her during her office hour and the journey scenes, you'll see a great contrast. She definitely went under skin lightening procedure. Even all her recent pics have lighter skin tone.
