Alia, Shraddha should stick to what they do best, says singer Kavita

The recent trend in the industry has seen actresses croon for their films and fans love to see their stars take to the mike. Shraddha Kapoors Galliyan from Ek Villain and Alia Bhatt's Samjhawan from Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya are examples enough to prove that. While fans simply go gaga over stars flaunting their singing skill, singers are not very happy with actresses doing their job.

In a recent interview with BollywoodLife, singer Kavita Seth of Tum hi ho bandhu fame, when asked what she thought of actresses like Shraddha and Alia who have taken up singing for their films, Kavita told us that she'd much rather actresses stuck to doing their own work. She said, "If the melody is good and the actress can sing, it is okay once in a while; makes for a good publicity stunt. But I think they should stick to what they do best... act."

even though she sounds insecure... i still agree with her. its unfair to all those singers out there who spend years learning the basics of musics , all they're waiting for is just one chance. On the other hand these mediocre chicks are getting everything served on silver platter.
