let us request SP for public voting.
if they consider that trp is the bench mark for the serial to run for years together it is wrong.
instead let the star plus people put voting system so that the correct serial stay and the rest go off air.
my small analysis:
take case of ladies/girls
age group 20 to 25 they will be busy with their routines and watch tv only after 8.30pm or 9pm
they will be almost changing one channel to other and by the time they fix them they will be more interested in movies or jokes or reality shows.
25 to 30yrs. mostly newly married house wives and will be turned to tvs from 6.30 onwards till they husbands return from offices.
30 to 40yrs housewives will be very busy with kids and their education till 9.30pm and will be watching tv only after that.
40 and above house wifes will be watching tv always only for sound sake or video sake but will be following very less because they will be either busy taking in phone with their kids who will be staying away because of education or job
so voting is the best way to declare which will be in raise and which should be removed.
the first in list should be the seriels which run years together without story.
what do you say
if sense is shown in a serial then it will be definitely going off air within few months or less then that.
if nonsense is shown that a 70 or 60 yrs person stays as a young as 20 s and even a nani can live for yrs and can have love affairs and can have N number of marriages and engagements then the serial is super duper hit and it can be on air till jub thak suraj and chand rahe ga tab thak the serial can be on air.
