Does Hotstar work in North America?

Hey,
Does anyone know if Hotstar app/website work in North America, specifically in Canada? I have heard couple of reviews of it working in US, but not sure about Canada. I tried the website and it ain't working for me
wondering if the app works 😕
ps. What other website uploads official (or unofficial) Star Plus shows videos? 😳

It works in the US if you access it through a laptop or desktop... Not sure about Canada though...
