Alia Bhatt has already gone on record, claiming that Udta Punjab is her most challenging part yet. Possibly so. She plays a Bihari migrant who gets involved in drug trafficking and drug abuse. Alia will scare people with her popped-in eyes and her junkie avatar in the film. Ask her about it and she laughs, "Well, people might get a little scared with that look. But I hope to surprise them more than I scare them. Udta Punjab is a really complex film; something people will understand once the promos are out."

Really looking forward to the film! Best of luck to her and I hope this film, Shaandaar and the Ayan Mukherji film are all huge hits for her.

The makers must really hv faith in her acting..and kudos to this adorable kid for taking on such a role...so early in her life...

btw that picture of hers has her looking reaaallly beautiful

i never thought of Alia as beautiful but as she grows a little older she is losing that pre teen look ,,,and metamorphising into a very beautiful girl...

her handbag ad was sooo good, she looked and acted fabulous in it...

i never imagined i would be this big an admirer of the girl who starred in SOTY...but now...never say never, you never know
