Mumbai: As Shahid Kapoor prepares to tie the knot with his fiance Mira Rajput, his childhood buddy, choreographer Ahmed Khan, lets us in on what he thinks about Sasha's plunge into matrimony.

Ahmed says, "I've witnessed all of Shahid's relationships " from the first one with Hrishita Bhatt to the last. Shahid is way too sensitive to be involved with women from within the entertainment industry. Mira is the right girl for Shahid. She has a very calming effect on him. They met in a spiritual setting at a satsang that Shahid religiously attends with his father (Pankaj Kapoor) in Delhi. It was only a matter of time before their bond culminated into marriage."

Apparently, Shahid kept changing the venue and date of the wedding. "I am one of the victims of his constant change of plans. Shahid wouldn't let even his father know his real plans. As a result, I am unable to attend his wedding in Greece on the chosen day. I have committed to shoot a song during that period. How much can one bond at a destination wedding anyway? I'd rather have my own private celebration with Shahid and our respective wives after he returns," Ahmed says.

We hear, Shahid has not taken Ahmed's RSVP too well. Says Ahmed, "Shahid is upset with me for not accepting his wedding invitation. I will make it up to him after he returns."

Happy for him.. Finally everything settling down for him, be it career front or personal front.. I always felt bad for him, even though bad script sense is his choice... But finally he is succeeding and on his own and making a mark... Ofcourse his parents goodwill in the industry has helped him alot, however I am so glad he didnt take advantage of it.. Though I wont call him a starkid, PK is not exactly known as a star... I think his humility and background contributed to his long survival.. I remember seeing IMD episode... He was so humble and quite the charmer.. Funny too... Also alot of those interviews during PPNH and RR period, comes across as light hearted down to earth person... Really happy for him... And it does hurt a little that he is off the charts for us single hot sexy girls... Hahahahaha

Actually, always surprised... he is an exception ... that without being a star's kid in the truest sense, people still offer him stuff cause they believe in his ability. They only hesitate cause of his lack of B/O pull. Otherwise he can go along way. Let's see if Shaandaar can change that for him.

Actually I am surprised at his lack of BO pull.. He has done some real good films in the past, unfortunately, somethings didnt work out for him.. I don know how true it is, but I always felt that he couldnt do well in BO because of his image quite similar to SRK... And him being with the Kapoor girl didnt help him much also... People can argue that he got movies because he was with Bebo that time... But he still got films after breaking up with her.. So I just guess he is plain lucky like Katrina, however Katrina had BO pull and Shahid trump card was his talent and humble nature..

Just wondering... it's weird he hasn't tweeted for a week. Might be normal, but not for him. 😆 Fans crying on Twitter made me think - According to the rumours he's supposed to get hitched on June 10th (If not in July) and hasn't tweeted since 9th. Coincidence?
