Hi guys, this is my first post in this forum. Enjoy!
She walked out wearing a traditional banarasi saree. Her hands were adorned with henna. She was glowing. Her mother and sisters couldn't stop staring at her. She looked ever so beautiful. Her mother couldn't help but shed a tear, but her daughters reminded her that her makeup will smudge. Sneha didn't care about her makeup she was far too happy. She was shedding tears of joy. Her daughter was finally getting married and that too, to the perfect man.
Sneha and her daughters walked the bride down the aisle. The bride's prince charming was waiting for her. He was nervous, papacing up and down but his good friend assured him that everything will be fine.
Finally the groom caught his bride walking down the aisle and suddenly all was well. He was no longer nervous. His bride looked him in the eye, he looked back with love. He didn't need words to express his love. They finally sat down for the rituals. The groom applied sindoor on the brides forehead and tied the mangalsutra around her neck. There he spotted something, he remained quite.
After the rituals were finally over, the couple set off. Of course tears and hugs and kisses were exchanged between the bride and her mother and sisters but they knew they would see her soon.
The newly wedded couple were finally in their bedroom. The groom was nervous, more nervous than the bride. She sat down next to him. She could see that he was disturbed.
"Rama, what's wrong?!" she asked as she grabbed his hand.
"Rachita ji, your tattoo..?" he replied.
"What about it?" she asked with a cheeky grin.
"It says RG?" he asked, confused.
"Yeah, so?'" she replied with an even bigger grin on her face.
"RG.. Ramashrey Gupta?!" he asked.
"No" replied Rachita, folding her arms.
Rama began to panic. He stood up and asked "then?".
Rachita burst out laughing, "areeeh you fool! Of course it stands for Ramashrey Gupta, my love! I thought I would surprise you tonight but you've already seen it!" she said, winking.
Rama felt as if he was on cloud 7, until Rachita pulled him down towards her.
"Rama, you knew about this tattoo for a while now and you've given it a whole new meaning. You're my true love Rama, without you I am nothing. You've accepted me despite my past, my family. You were always there for me. I really love you Rama, more than anything in this world" she said with teary eyes.
Rama pulled her towards him and hugged her. "I love you too, Rachita ji!"
