Close buddies, producer Bunty Walia and Abhishek Bachchan, who have never done a film together, will be soon teaming up for their next film. According to an industry insider, Bunty is set to produce a film that will be directed by Soham Shah who has directed films like Kaal and Luck.
It is believed that Bunty loved Soham's script and discussed it with Abhishek. "Bunty is extremely happy with the script and after a discussion with director Soham, the two met Abhishek and narrated the story to him. Abhishek too liked the script and has almost confirmed to star in the film, which is a solo hero project," said the source.
The source further added that the rest of the star cast is yet to be finalised. Abhishek is the first actor to come on board as the lead for this project. The film will release next year. Interestingly, Abhishek's father Amitabh Bachchan was part of Bunty Walia's last film Lamha. If all goes well, Soham's film is expected to start by this year end or early next year. Meanwhile, Abhishek has completed Umesh Shukla's All Is Well and currently shooting for Neeraj Vohra's Hera Pheri 3. The actor will also be shooting Housefull 3 this year. Producer Bunty, who has been keeping this project under wraps, denied any such development regarding this film but our source insists that Bachchan junior is definitely starring in this upcoming film.
