HUMSAFAR.....same story but different - Page 2

The most refreshing part was the triangular combo of Naveen-Fawad-Mahira, such eye candies these three are, and especially i love the vivid difference that sarmad maintained in sara's characterization. She was NOT evil but neurotic, somebody in her place, heck i myself would go bonkers if someone like Asher would reject me multiple times for a woman of lower status, it husrt, it hurts like no tomorrow, and because she is a human therefore she goes all the wrong way. Not everything positive can be about smiling and sacrifices, yes she was selfish, may be to the point of damaging Asher too, but that is how she was moulded into.

now coming to Mahira, well, the lady is gorgeous, she is irreplacable as Khirad, she is irreplacable as Asher's first and last love, khirad had the capabilitie sto ignite so many emotions within Asher. Unlike the hindi shows where the heroine slaps, insults the hero and hero falls for her regressive lectures and ruins his life, here we see khirad instead unfolding Asher's personna into an unseen level, the young, passionate and desiring man he becomes was because she has her beuaty, brains and unconditional love for him, which he even if wanted also could never forget and this is the reason we see him suffer more than her, yes khirad was abandone, but she never regretted or even had cursed herself. while we see Asher suffering in a very tormented level, and that is worser. A girl like sara could never make him do that, and even khirad doe snot know that how much she affected him, all she knew was she loved him and that was enough, uff my feels.

Asher, i think everybody knows that if i star with him i will never end, i have quite an unpopular opinion about him, not much into feminism, i love him, the kind of WHITENESS his character holds, there is 99% of chances that the character could at a point irritate the hell out of you as an audience, but no, you do not feel anything like that, all you feel is pity and grief over his condition. I have seen , many such superior and mahaan heroes who at a point is so unreal and boring, makes you yawn and leave the show, where as Asher just makes you feel for him at an extreme level. The way he nurtures his guilt over sara is again beautiful, there are very few men who can be loyal to so many women at the same time, be it their mother, wife and even somebody who obsess over them, and Asher maintains a very fine line here. He used to make khirad feel beautiful and important, she never felt loved by anybody and when he makes her feel like the queen of his world, it shatters her but it shatters her more when the same person does not give her a chance back. I still remember Fawad-Mahira telling in jago paksitan, there was a scene when Asher tells fareeda that if he meets khirad ever again , he might just kill her for what she did, and Mahira replies to the scene that " itni shiddhat se chaha na hota tou shayad itni shiddhat se nafrat bhi na kiya hota " and that is what exactly happened with him.

The only thing is regret of not seeing in this show was Asher's torment over sara's death at least his reaction, because somebody like him, who could accept all her psychotic acts and still ask for a sorry for not doing anything, how would he react when he would know that she was the one who back stabbed him and now suicided, i wish they would show his reaction.

PS- i am sorry for the essay. i just cannot help it when it comes to Humsafar and Asher.LOL
