Well... Humsafar is indeed a brilliant show.. filled wid powerpacked performances of actors (from lead to supporting all were truly superb) Even my dad who hates watching indian daily soaps because of all rona-dhona, watched humsafar wid keen interest... (aur who bhi tv marathon, saare episodes saath mein) honestly, (no offence), but the story was very common for Indians.. same saas plotting against bahu, hero's ex-lover creating troubles for heroine ... and much more... such tracks have been included in n number of shows here.. but our serial makers should learn is HOW TO PRESENT IT???

For the first time I could not help but feel sorry for negative character of sarah.. I cried not only wid Khirad and Ashar but wid Sarah too..😭😭otherwise here we only end up hating irritating villians of our shows who have no other aim in their life other than destroying the life of main lead...!!! horrendous..😡😡😡

Humsafar is an example of how you can create magic wid a simple story line... without vulgarity...😳 I mean the romantic scenes are becoming more and more vulgar wid passing days...

The show didn't have any hugs or kisses yet the couple was epic... their story was epic...👏😳

I think it is high time that our show makers should wake up before its too late!!!!!👎🏼

True, couldnt agree more, I have said this quite a few times in PSF when humsafar was initially aired. I have seen this story beaten to death in old BW movies...its the execution that made it what it is, I had no idea that Asher's Mom will turn into Miss evil😆, I liked that surprise element.

The storyline is ghissi pitti repetitive.. even the saas turning evil angle is. Liked how it was a neurotic thing because of how Baseerat had insulted her. Even reviewers agree that the execution is what made the difference. The combination of Fawad, Mahira, Naveen was so fresh and even Atiqa Odho came to act after a long time. Otherwise the drama was promoted initially regularly like every other drama before of-course it all blew up 😆 There's something in the simplicity of Humsafar which makes it a good watch.

Agree with you . Story had nothing new but its the way it was told and subtle acting , with emotionally charged scenes ,never went over the top . Not romantic scenes . When our Sop makers will wake up from their own deep slumber . People are liking Zindgi channel day by day . Its execution of the story ,keeping it just to story and with that the Actors who breathe life in to characters.

I agree Neerjaa!! our soap makers will soon lose most of their audience to Zindagi because of their never ending dragging of plots...!!!

Zindagi is indeed a much needed fresh air...!!!

Thing with Humsafar is that it kinda grows on u..with every watch, yeah the same old storyline yada yada..but in every other department its close to perfect..

crisp editing, great camera work, that enchanting and haunting BGM and how an OST can be used the best, to add ripple effects in a scene, neat direction and strong performances (ex atiqa) soulful romance and ofcoz the lead pair's chemistry <3 and some great tearjerkers!

and every time I personally watch the last scene, even if out of nowhere, I kinda feel sad and happy everytime..sad that this is all that we will get to asher-khirad's saga and happy becoz of some unknown elated feeling lol to see them together with their daughter and a neat and tidy ending to the story..nothing more, nothing less..

I agree Hiral !! last episode is definitely evergreen... each watch time I watch it.. I cry a lot..

yeah... but I would love to have a humsafar 2 ... a story from the end of first... wid same pair in lead...

Well, TBH Im a ZGH lover more than Humsafar. The storyline being ages old abt which we have seen thousands of Movies and Soaps. But what makes it stands out is the presentation. Fawad Khan stands out as Asher! 👏👏 And being The Sadistic soul I am, I loved the tormented Broken Asher more than the happy one! 😆😆 Sarmad Khoosat's Crisp direction. Mention, All of Asher Bawling. Be It His Screaming in the car, Or Breakdown near the sea, Crashing of the glass, His Screaming at Khirad and The mastershot where Fawad's eyes were captured. Brilliant! 👏 OFc, The Soulful and Haunting OST along wid BGM! And Even though Sara was negative but you can still feel for her.. Unlike Our Shows.

Lol... then being a sadistic soul.. Shanaya di you would have thoroughly enjoyed watching Dastaan...!! it was full of tormented FK...!! 😉
