yes even i used to follow airlines and this show .Both the show are very similar in the way of presenting drama one incident every episode and mystery with main characters .
I loved annie character and her secretThis show is doing good i hope they allow it to complete 26 episodes and let full story unfold not like airlines end it abruptly
A wonderful analysis dear.
I too love these type of shows which steer away from the normal saas-bahu sagas...and other similar TRP garnering tracks...Airlines was also a favourite show of mine and the treatment Star Plus gave it really angered me...I believe these shows are for the classes and not masses, henced we have to bear the brunt of the step-motherly treatment they get.So far GG is going very well...Lovely setting (An actual hotel), good characterisation (mystery romance-in-the-air etc,),... Different story tracks each episode...Just hope it keeps going in the same way...Hoping to see your posts more frequently on this forum...

Hey Visha!
Personally I'm loving the show. I left Airlines midway only because I couldn't see Tulip's character being the problem solver every time. Here what I like the most is that Anahaita isn't solving every problem. The baby-being-sold episode showed Neil, Teeshay, and Tina resolving everything. The other thing I really love is the characterizations. They're all real, relate-able, and believable. And they all have something or the other in their pasts that bring them together in uncommon, but realistic ways.I like that the setting is an actual hotel, there are different tracks each week and not all are criminal or have some problem to be solved, and that the characters are being developed at a good pace and relationships are also being developed at a good pace. For example it didn't feel weird at all that Neil was watching Annie dance with some sort of surprise and fascination. It makes sense and feels like the perfect next step to a new relationship between these 2.The only thing I am having issues with (for lack of a better word) is Anirudh's involvement. He's there all the time in the thick of every problem. Then he's also there to save people from Mr. Jaitley. Then he's also there to hear the conversations that remind him of his past. He's human, not Superman that he's always in the right place at the right time. I would like if they stopped doing that. And same with Annie.
