Oh come on!! No one is denying that nepotism is a serious problem here but this article is ridiculous with its example and headline. When KJo made that comment about casting the 3 kids in SOTY sequel he was obviously joking.

If people want to write articles about the problem that is nepotism then write about how the whole industry is coddling Rishi Kapoor's son post BV debacle. Write about what how Boney Kapoor's son has no business being an actor. Write about how Amitabh Bachchan and Anil Kapoor's children managed to get offers despite numerous flops, and lack of talent in the latter's case. Write about how some of the praise that David Dhawan's son gets is because his father is David Dhawan and not because he deserves it. Write about how the whole industry rallied around Salim Khan's criminal son and prayed justice to turn blind in his favor. Don't take an innocent joke and turn it into an editorial point because you yourself are too concerned about the backlash you'll receive from the families if you used real applicable examples.

If KJo was joking then so am I 😆

No I am not scared of any backlash from all the families you have mentioned. In fact I fully agree with you on each and every case of nepotism in our entertainment industry. It is a point of serious concern for all of us as the Bollywood lustre is slowly but surely eroding with nepotism ( read power vested in a few hands) being the bane of this industry. The problem is further compounded by those who manage to sneak past the closed door themselves succumb to the system.

Drastic issues need drastic solutions or we the audience will be the losers. And jokes cracked about such roadblocks can not be appreciated.

Why not?

After all he too is a product of nepotism himself.

And has been promoting nepotism further through Imran also.

The article looks like a joke now but I think such things could indeed happen in future.

I thought the entire post was a published article. I didn't realize it was your words. I honestly thought an entertainment journalist wrote and published that article criticizing KJo's joke.

I still stand by my point, but I get your joke now. Anyway, it seems like we agree on the main point, but we just reacted differently to KJo's joke.

Peace out!!

Lakdi ki kathi, kathi pe ghoda
Ghode ki doom pe jo mara hathoda

Doda doa doda ghoda doom daba ke douda..

I think AbRam is already a superstar, the way papa is realising his daily pics..
