Salman Khan Backs Out of Kareena's Film

Earlier this year, filmmaker Raj Kumar Gupta had confirmed that he has cast Kareena Kapoor Khan for his next film. What was not known was that Gupta was in talks with Salman Khan to produce the film. However, the deal unfortunately fell through and Gupta is now looking for another producer to back his film.
Confirming the news to Mumbai Mirror, Gupta said, "Yes, at one point we were talking to Salman Khan's banner to produce my film with Kareena Kapoor. But the deal didn't come through. At the moment, we are talking to other studios and one should come on-board soon."
The film in question will allegedly see Kapoor Khan in the role of a schizophrenic.
Though Gupta had a successful start to his career with the much-appreciate films Aamir' (2008) and No One Killed Jessica' (2011), his last release Ghanchakkar' (2013) failed to live up to expectations.
