Hi SidNians,
I am back with another story on our beloved couple SidNi. It includes some other characters of the show as well but I am giving a bit different character sketch to all. All the characters are positive and no negativity. It will be another romantic-comedy. From the title you can guess that I will tell you a story about what happened in one particular summer and how love bloomed between Siddharth and Roshni. Enjoy the story!
Siddharth Khurana (26)
He is a good-looking, witty and charming person. A multi millionaire hotelier with a hobby of photography. He lives alone in London and manages the world wide chains of hotel that he owns. In his past-time he loves to take random clicks of the world's beauty and capture them forever.
Roshni Patel (26)
She is a smart, young independent woman. Lives in Paris where she owns a studio. She is an artist and being a person who follows the motto of - "the heart wants what the heart wants" she pursued her hobby as her career. She loves her sister a lot and is very close to her.
Kritika Khurana (29)
She is Siddharth's elder sister, and the joy of happiness of all the Khuranas. Why you ask? Since her health conditions are most of the times compromised, she lives with her parents. She is an excellent chef and has her own restaurant in Goa where she works. She is Samaira's BFF - You know what that is? Best Friends Forever!! 😛
Samaira Patel (29)
She is Roshni's elder sister and since childhood she just wanted one thing in life. That is to get married to her prince charming. And this summer is her lucky summer, why? Because she is getting married! To whom? Well to her Prince Charming offcourse! 😳
Yash Mehra (30)
He is the knight in shining armour for our lovely princess, yes you guessed it right! He is the Prince Charming!! He is Siddharth's Cousin Brother, who used to visit the Khurana's every vacation when he was young. But when his parent's died in a car crash, Khurana's invited him open heartedly in their household. He helps in taking care of the Khurana Empire in India.

DD Patel
She is a shrewd mother to both Roshni and Samaira. Always busy with her Jewellery business, she hardly spent time with her kids. But she was a very good mother earlier in the days of her parenthood. One incident and everthing changed. Samaira had seen her mother closely in those disastrous days and was a comfort for her during that time. Hence DD is closer to Samaira and this is one of the reasons why Roshni despises her.
Raj Khurana
He is Siddharth's and Kritika's father, the maker of Khurana Empire. He is just like his son, witty and fun loving. He has retired from work as now both Sid and Yash manages his business. In his past-time he learns cooking from Kritika and loves to flirt with his wife - no work you see! 😆
Simran Khurana
She is a very motherly person and a home maker. She loves all her kids equally, and gives extra attention to Yash as he was her sister's child.
[Side Note: The Khurana's and the Patel's are NEIGHBOURS. Not too friendly, not too much enemity. But since now their children are getting married, they are HAPPY about it. The story is based in GOA.]
So I know too many characters!! But I will put them when required; it is still a SidNi Fiction!! 😃
Let's go to the very first meeting of our beloved couple. When that might be? Can you guess? You will be wrong! 😉
6th April, 1993
It was the first day of school. Siddharth was too excited to be out of the house without his parent's supervision, unlike the other kids who were crying being left alone. He happily runs inside his classroom and sits on a chair. A pretty girl walks up to him and says,
"This is my chair!!"
"Is your name written on it?" he teased.
"I kept my bag on it." she persisted and held his hands pulling him to get up.
"But I sat on it first!" he retorted yanking her hands away.
"If you don't get up, I will make you!" she tried to scare him.
"What will you do? You're a girl! I am not scared of girls!!" he played along.
Just at that moment the teacher enters.
Roshni whispers, "Just see what a girl can do!"
She started crying, no she started howling loudly. The teacher comes near her and says,
"What happen?"
"Ma'am he is sitting on my chair." she cried a bit louder this time.
Siddharth stood up and said,
"Ma'am she is lying!"
Roshni started bawling her eyes out with all the fake tears she could manage. The teacher was confused and startled looking at them fighting like that. She was scared that the girl won't stop crying, so she made Siddharth sit somewhere else. When the teacher walks away, Roshni smirks at Siddharth and shows thumbs down.
Siddharth vowed to take revenge. The very next day, all the kids were assembled in the hall for their morning prayer. A side fan was placed in the hall but it was switched off. Siddharth pushes Roshni which makes her bag fall down. When she bends to pick it up, he switches on the fan. This makes her skirt blow up in the air in front of the entire school! Everyone started laughing and making fun of her.
"Look at the pink bunny!!" screamed Siddharth pointing at her pink under garment.
"Bunny Bunny Bunny!!" everyone shouted. The teachers tried to make them quiet because Roshni had started to cry.
Well some say, it is love at first sight but here it was HATE at first sight. From that day onwards they were sworn enemies. Roshni was stuck with the new name "Bunny". And after a few months, she transferred to another school in the city and in a few years she was sent away to boarding school in Ooty.
I know i made them too smart when they are so young, when i was at that age i couldn't even speak properly let alone fight with another person 😆 But these are SidNi, they are over-smart people 😳
