Aishwarya back in Sujoy's Suspect X

It's official. The Queen actress is out of Ekta's project



Trust Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to make an impact even before her comeback filmJazbaa hits the screens. After the Sanjay Gupta film and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, the actress has bagged her third project.

And it's Ekta Kapoor's adaptation of the Japanese novel, The Devotion Of Suspect X. This marks Ash's first collaboration with Balaji Motion Pictures.

Yes, 9xe.com has it that Kangana Ranaut has been replaced by Aishwarya.

The Queen actress was finalized for the thriller opposite Saif Ali Khan in February this year.

A source reveals that Kangana and Balaji Motion Pictures had irrevocable differences.

Aishwarya has given her nod of consent and she'll sign the dotted line once she returns from Cannes.

Added the source, "Contrary to rumours, Ekta has no differences with Sujoy. Also, he has not demanded any exorbitant amount from her as his directorial fee."

We were the first to tell you that Aishwarya was the first choice for the film (9xe.com, October 27). Sujoy was toying with the idea of casting her but when things didn't work out, he approached Kangana early this year.
