so ridz sed......so u knoe

n armans face went silent n kinda upset

The family that was shown where the father need the liver....it was because for many years he had been drinking alcohol and hitting the mother and the son has to witness it.

I read somewhere((there were little descriptions about all the interns), that Armaan wants to be a great doctor/surgeon and break away from the rep/stigma of being the son of a famous (possibly) "alcoholic anaestheologist". Therefore Armaan knows what it's like to have an alcoholic as a father...therefore he sympathized with the son.

hi,
taken straight from the archive section (1st page):

Dr Armaan Mallik
22 year old Armaan represents the new age man; one who is self confident, efficient, cheeky and occasionally even smug. He is also extremely handsome and gives the impression of being a skirt chaser. He enjoys female company and makes no bones about the fact that he has a weakening knee effect on women. He is used to being the centre of female attention and also knows how to sustain that attention when he does receive it. Armaan comes from an affluent family and has never wanted for anything materialistic ever in his life. But beneath the suave and confident exterior lies a focussed doctor, whose sole aim is to outgrow the stigma of being the son of an alcoholic anaesthesiologist

i suspected tht since he went to jail cuz its not like possible tht ur parents dnt care abt u for eg. ridz n anji got dr.shashank, sapna's got er mum n we alreadi sort of know tht atul's an orphan which is sad but thank god shis not a sad person his quiete lively but they nevver mentioned armaan's parents so there must b sumthing thts a shock n rich ppl can b alcoholic as well.. i kno who is n his children dnt even care abt him now adaiz.. well its not sum1 famous its sum1 i kno, so yeh i think armaan n his dad have a prob n i kno how it feels wen ur described as ''the alcoholic father's son/daughter'' it creates an impression as if ur like him when ur not n it realli effects ur personality.. aniway.. so i guess we know half of the problem now we jus need to find out who is his dad after all.. they gotta show his dad in sum episode.. aniway.. am out of this thread now.
thanks.
