Arijit songs from pre tum hi ho era >>>>> everything kumar sanu sang in his lifetime (his 2000+ songs discography yada yada)..

uska hi bana, dua, phir le aaya dil, raabta, phir mohabbat are forever lovesss!

Arijit is definitely more versatile than Kumar Sanu who mostly sang romantic solos or duets with Alka in the 90s.
Arijit has a vast repertoire of songs already! He sings all types of songs and excels everytime!

Arijit has no identity? 😆 What identity did Kumar Sanu have? A successful clone of Kishore Kumar?

As for establishing himself, Kumar Sanu ji, its not as easy as it was in the 90s, there is a LOT of competition out there with new singers popping up everyday from talent shows, music directors debuting as singers themselves and even actors and actresses singing their own songs.

after 5 years another singer will be famous and u will say exact same thing about him when pitted against arijit

i love kumar sanu but he wasn't versatile either... :/

his songs in Zakhm have been my favourite

Once I love a singer's songs, I love it forever! Im not so fickle!

I am a Kishore Kumar fan, RD Burman fan, Lata ji, Asha Bhonsle, Rafi Saab...all the oldies I still listen to them to this day! I dont latch on to the latest craze with no understanding for its intrinsic musical value!

😆 as far as 90s music is concerned..IMO the only great thing that happened was emergence of A R Rahman..I die everytime I hear jaaps on aashiqui or saajan songs..anu malik, jatin lalit, nadeem shravan were annoying with their brand of music for me..some decent songs/ albums like criminal or phir teri kahaani yaad aayi or some songs here and there, dont cover up for otherwise highly mediocre music being churned out..

I know how much everyone cribs about the way music is made today..and yes according to me its obviously a far cry and nowhere comparable to the golden era of 50s-60s-70s, and Id buy it if the legendary singers from that era aka lata or asha would complain about the singers or music today..but the ones like kumar sanu or abhijeet..who had no style, no great hold over classical songs or got much variation or influence from even western classical..it dint even feel like they sang from soul..cribbing about the singers today..gime a break🥱

PS - Arijit just got typecast post tum hi ho..and boy I wish he would get something spectacular to sing like before..
