DAY 60! - Farewell!
"Aye hamnava...Mujhe apna bana le..."
Let it all go Nandini...let yourself go today...and make me your own...
Bid farewell...to that horrendous night, and let's welcome the glorifying morning. Bid farewell to the eerie memories...and let's make "hundred good memories to every single bad memory." Bid farewell to the dilemma of whether you can ever find yourself or not. Bid farewell to the fear of trusting your own self again...
I promise to hold you when you want to fall back in my arms. I promise to stand there, as still as a pillar for when you want to just lean in for comfort. I promise to be patient, to teach you everything you're unsure of at this stage. I promise to be your guide for life. I promise to reunite you with yourself again. But just let yourself go today, and make me your own...
It's time to bid farewell to the Nandini you may have known yourself to be... I promise to unite you with my Nandini now...
Let me be your shadow now, let me be your thoughts now, let me be your new memories now. I promise to erase every haunting scene that has settled in your mind. I promise to never let go of you even in pitch black darkness. Even if you may not be able to see yourself, I promise to always reflect you from yourself so you never lose sight of yourself. I promise to visit you in every thought, I promise to greet you in every dream. I promise to live in your every memory...but just let yourself go today, and make me your own...
Bid farewell to old habits Nandini. Bid farewell to old likes. If they haunt you, they aren't worth to be thought about. Bid farewell to every element that makes you shudder even amidst warmth. Bid farewell to all ingredients that make you fearful of even the daylight. I promise to introduce you to new passions, to new favourites, to new habits. I promise to block out every light of intimidation and fill your life with only sparkles of new beginnings. I promise to calm those trembling and hesitant fingers and assure them they are brave enough to handle the essence of touch again. But just let yourself go today, and make me your own...
"I think music got us together"...
Bid farewell to that every bad memory which wants to overshadow our priceless and beautiful memories. Bid farewell to every frisson of fear which runs down your spine when I mention the mere word "music". Bid farewell to every uninvited touch that you can still feel trailing up and down your arms. Bid farewell to every cold word which was uttered by his devious mouth. Bid farewell to every unapproved stare he eyed you with. Bid farewell to every frown that forces itself on your lips whenever you rewind back to that tormenting night.
Bid farewell to your Veena and make my guitar your own...
"Tumhe who veena se problem hai na...woh instrument se? Fine...don't even touch it." Bid farewell to the music which solely belonged to you. And welcome the music which belongs to us...
I promise to revive all those pleasant memories that are associated with our music Nandini. I promise that the memories of our "Mithi Boliyan" will mute the haunting echoes of that devil. I promise that the memories of our "Khabar Nahin"will turn your frown upside down into a long-lasting smile. I promise you that the memories of our "Mar jaiyaan" will wipe out all trails of his evil touch and spreads warmth to every inch of your body. The warmth that you found in my arms when we sung the song together. I promise that the memories of our "Jaise Mera Tu" will radiate the shining brightness of my life into your darkness. I promise that that the memories of our "Zehnaseeb" will quieten every fearful scream inside you. I promise to assure you that our music is the only music worth remembering. I promise to make you fall in love with music all over again. The music which belongs to us. The music which is inseparable from our lives, just like your inseparable from me. For me..."it's a delight to watch" you sing. I promise to make you fall in love with your own voice again. But just let yourself go today, and make me your own...
You're the lyrics of my music Nandini. You're the chorus of my song. You're the tune of my guitar. You're the feel of my emotions. You're the meaning of my words. You're the love of my life. The 'N' of your Nandini, binds together to complete my MaNik.
Bid farewell to the darkness today Nandini...and let me be the fireflies that will always glow for you...
Bid farewell to the roots of doubt today Nandini...and invest your faith in me. Let me be the lost trust which you are looking for...
Bid farewell to the shattered confidence today Nandini...and let me be your unwavering self-assurance...
Bid farewell to the throbbing aches today Nandini...and let me be your healing ointment which will shield your wounds from further aggravation...
Bid farewell to the hyperventilating inhalations today Nandini... and let me be the calm of your breathing...
Bid farewell to the fearing gasps today Nandini...and let me be your brave heart...
Bid farewell to the past today Nandini...and let me be your future of hamesha...
I promise you all the time which comes with our hamesha. I promise you all the understanding which comes with our hamesha. I promise you all the smiles which come with our hamesha. I promise you all the "good memories" which come with our hamesha. I promise you all my longanimity which comes with our hamesha. I promise you all my respect which comes with our hamesha. I promise you all my wait which comes with our hamesha. But just let yourself go today, and make me your own...
I promise to be there Nandini. Today, tomorrow and hamesha...but I want a promise from you in return... I want you to bid farewell to all your pain today Nandini and just give me every inch of your suffering, every tear of defeat, every pang of your hurting...
You've always been my well-wisher, my companion, my friend, my lover, my hamnava..today I seek a promise from you Nandini...
..."Aye hamnava...Mujhe apna bana le...
Sukhi Padi Dil ki Iss Zameen ko bheega de..."
...Make me yours today Nandini...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I just can't...I think I just don't have it in me to analyse them anymore to be honest because they seem to be re-defining love with every episode, and I'm always left stranded as to how to rightfully justify this love of theirs. Today I just didn't even want to try and talk about anything else other than that scene when they played such beautiful lyrics to show Manik's attempt to erase all the bad memories, to take away all the pain, the burden of her fears that is inside her and just fill her inner consciousness with their undying love. Such an adoring scene that I just don't know what to say...
Today was indeed the day of farewells and 'hamnava'. What a beautiful meaning that word has associated with itself. It means a well-wisher, a friend, someone who blesses you for happiness in your future...
Manik in a way was seen as Navya's well-wisher too today when he told Harshad to bid farewell from his friends' lives. Oh and ofc...my heart went ballistic when those words were spoken..."Harshad harshad harshad...tsk tsk tsk"Goddd Manik Malhotra...one day my breathing may just come to a halt because of you! đ
Dhruv bid farewell to his buddy and his friends today too...I'm keen to see how the CV's plan to unfold the mystery related to his and Rishab's attacks.
Mukti and Cabir were in a way being Aliya's well-wishers too today...as they both tried to make her understand that there was hope for a new start between her and Dhruv too. But she farewelled all advises
And last but not the least...our Navya playing the cupid well-wisher between MaNan again and leaving them for some time to themselves... her and Cabir will always be my most cherished Cupids on Indian television! đ
And lastly as I go...I can't help but adore the song one more time which was played today. There are these lines especially in the son which come around in the second verse...
"Un rangon se tunne milaya...
Jinse kabhi mai mil na paya..."
*sighhh* it's almost like the song was made for Manik... today, if he could, he would say to her to...
"Bid farewell to the darkness Nandini, which was once mine and is now creeping onto you, and let me drench you in the colours of my love which were originally introduced by you..."
EDIT: Ummm...I think I'm addicted to this song now and so I've just got to post the link here.
