I am quite clueless as to why Akbar turned back yesterday after seeing Uday singh alive and well on top of the fort.
I mean, Uday singh is a light-weight in terms of battle skills etc. Whether he is present in the war or not really makes no difference.
I would not have been surprised if Akbar turned back after seeing Pratap was still there when he thought Pratap was dead.
But to see him turn back because uday singh was present was a little silly. Akbar only fears Pratap not Uday singh.
In any case, when he first started the charge he would have known that even if Uday singh was dead, Pratap would still be leading the Mewar charge and would not let Akbar take over Mewar.
