I am not being judgmental...but shraddha has just lost her dadi in the morning...then she had a terrible encounter with sher...and in the bedroom scene she was smiling and all cool..I know CVS have sketched shraddha who looks forward...she is aware of things..but that scene looked out of place..I was expecting an emotional volcanic eruption...somebody in the forum said that she is a sleeping volcano...when will she erupt I really don't understand... Its very important for sher to know and realize
..today also sher said he feels bad for her as well as he is mad with her...

I know and understand that character growth doesn't happen in 3 weeks..I know as story unfolds we will get to see her speaking out and taking stand... But that scene just didn't go in sync with the story...

This is just my opinion..

Vallu, I was the one who called her a sleeping volcano, but I guess she will remain a sleeping volcano till the day the show comes to an abrupt end because of her idiotic character.
I fail to understand her as a character. At a time when she is suppose to be fuming for the ill treatment she has received despite her leaving her dead dadi's body without mourning to get back to that hell place, she finds it perfectly suitable to be smiling. Like what the hell? Did her dadi mean nothing to her? Maybe when BD told her to cut ties with her family, she took it in her stride and decided they were all dead that day itself hence why she did not feel bad about the dead of her grandmother.

The shock phase would have ended for any normal person after what Sher did when he found out about her elopement. First the makers start killing Sher's character (beating Sumer etc) and now Shraddha is being portrayed as a moron.😕

Its not about growth of a character, but rather the lack of emotion she portrayed after the death of her dadi, and no the shock phase has elapsed hence that is not even an excuse for her character.

@ innocent.I agree there is lack of emotion ..she is like a riddle now
..I just don't understand her actions...she was smiling and all cool in the trio scene...I mean how??see I don't want her to become a crybaby like other fl..
...
But that scene was so much out of place...it just didn't make any sense...

Vallu, She has always been a riddle for me. In those flashback scenes she seemed so adamant to turn wrong materials into correct ones to facilitate people's well being, ie the cleaning of the streets etc. There we saw a beautiful glimpse of her character and when Sher saves her and she shakes his hand, there is a cheekiness in her. All of which I thought brilliant, she wont be a cry baby and will take a stand when its needed.
But so far, its been the opposite. She is always scared, and also she always overlooks things. She pretends things never happen so she can live an easier life, which is fine to some extent ie pretending to be blind to make life easier. But she is a young woman who knows she has nothing to lose, so why not change her demeanor and make her a head-strong woman who refuses to be pushed around. It's a gradual change, fair enough but atleast make the change possible by taking little steps, haina? Why cant the makers be smart in her characterisation. Viewers are getting extremely annoyed at her.

I have never liked her and I blame the cvs for this. They have written every single character beautiful except for this one. One needs to connect to the person before one can connect to the doormat. These indian female leads we all know hw they eventually gona turn into doormats bt shraddha has just been given no space for us to connect to her character before she become the mahaan doormat. I dnt knw about everyone else but I rarely connect with her and certain times because sher as a character is so well written and gaurav acts so well that I kind of enjoy watching her being tortured(I am not like this in real life I swear lol bt I am being honest awesome acting= awesome torture scenes ). Furthermore I dnt knw even when she left after she had saw her dead dadi's body I didn't knw whether she was going back to save her skin or for her family. I guess we were told it was for her family bt I just didn't feel it was for that reason. And I was even more shocked at hw she was behaving with gajri and sumer joking and smiling I would never have guessed she had lost her dadi. And than with sher the shivering damsel act. For a moment I thought that she wasn't gona tell him anything and add to the confusion she is such a mute every time she speaks she surprises me. Atleast in the flash back scenes I found her more pleasant to watch than her other flash back scenes. The only bright spot about her character was in todays episode u could see hw revolted she was at his touch which was good. For me I can tolerate a bad character if the acting is outstanding but I am seriously disconcerting with this character its badly written, the actress mostly has not so good days. Bt what does cover this characters flaws and makes her bearable is the rest of the characters and the awesome acting. Bt that still doesn't mean the cvs shouldnt concentrate on her character she is like 1 of those flower pot characters in bollywood movies only difference is that she is given unlimited screen time lol. They need to work on her character asap she is a bore. Kirtida has a very sweet smile though

Guys I must be the only one who actually enjoyed dat scene where she was smiling with Gajra and Sumer! We all see things from our own perspective I guess. To me that scene was showing that even though Shraddha was upset at her dadis death (as they showed her crying earlier on the balcony) she was still trying to lighten the mood and make Sumer feel better as he was blaming himself for all dat have happened. I for one really am starting to like Shraddha's character this is just the beginning I am sure as time goes on she will come out of her shell she will have to as she is the main lead!

I never connected with Shraddha's character partly due to Kirtida's average acting & also the CVs fault of her characterisation. But actually today for the first time, I saw where she was coming from. So I disagree with you. Its true that her grandmother died in the morning & by the end of the day, Sher subjected her to so much torture & pain. But that doesn't mean she can't smile. She wasn't grinning or she wasn't smiling throughout. She smiled because she found some amount of comfort in Sumer & Gajra - her newfound protectors & friends in this dark world. We expected her to break down & I did too.
But she made her stand in the scene with Virat very clear,
1. She cannot raise her voice against BD/Sher or anyone else in that house because they are dangerous. She doesn't want another member killed.
2. She acknowledged that she doesn't have any feelings for anyone in that house. So you can't expect her to break down or share her feelings with others in that house. I was surprised that she shared about her brother with Sher. But I guess that was needed. She did it to put his suspicions to rest. But of course, Sher will not believe her.

@sandiab..well kirtida as a beautiful smile...I love her eyes...even gsb has lovely eyes
...little insight on what she thinks is required to connect with shraddha...flash back scenes were good..she does well in normal scenes..she didn't like sher touching her and she made it clear..that was a wow..I loved it..I see kirtida improving everyday so I really want as a viewer to connect with her character..I just don't understand what is going in her head sometimes!!

@prc1...samridhi I have told you already that your analysis are awesome..I love reading them...OK I agree that you share your heart with those who are dear ..everybody in that house is just freaking her out...but when I watched thursday,Friday and Monday episode in a go..that scene really looked weird and not in sync... Glad to read your POV in this discussion

Its not that I don't like shraddha's character..sometimes I just cannot figure out what is in her head...and I like kirtida too..I understand that as story unfolds we will get to see more variations of her...
