I totally agree. Qazi has improved a lot. More importantly he is working on improving himself. Sometimes Prashant's attitude towards him was biased. Prashant questioned Illa about saving him over Arijit (who though is definitely a better singer was very manipulative) but did not think about the time that Sandeep was saved over Qazi.

Like you correctly pointed out the idea of the Gurukul is to help a student improve and Qazi has made a lot of Progress.

Another thing to be kept in mind that Qazi (like Rex and Ruprekha) was an untrained singer. It is actually commendable the way he sang the song from swades. Manner wise he is very rough on the edges,Ila and the faculty need to guide him here.

Somehow Arpita seems to be like Arijit, very unsporting. Look at the way she keeps harping she is a better singer than Ruprekha all the time, which means that she is a better judge than the faculty and the judges. She ignores the fact that her voice tends to be shrill and flat at times too.
