The lady is really vicious . She may be old fashioned and traditional and rigid but she herself has a daughter and she wants her daughter to be happy and she is willing to go to any length to secure a good life for her daughter which is very admirable but I just can't understand how not even once the thought that little girl who is living with them is a daughter of another woman crosses her mind.
Isn't it strange for a woman and that too a mother of a girl?
Mangala is probably glad that Harki is relinquishing rights over the little girl and she can have her for herself. But this lady is the biggest obstacle in the path of Anandi and Nandini.š¤¢

On the question of Shiv Niketan - I think the name is just fine. Shiv always stood up for women and did fight for their rights he gave wings to his wife or rather he was the wind beneath her wings.
It's another matter that his wife would rather make him her entire world.
Shiv as a character is an instinctive feminist.He takes the woman's side whenever he comes across a man woman conflict.He believes that the woman is right until otherwise proven.
Even before he knew Anandi well he took Anandi's side when he got to know that her husband left her.
During Sanchi - case he believed his sister was not at fault till the proofs were shown to him.
In fact he was angry with Anandi at that time because she was supporting a man who insulted her and treated her so badly.
During Rasika time - He immeditely believed her sob stories without ever questioning her and he paid a huge price for that
Even during Palash track he was angry with Palash who turned out that unknown woman so rudely.
When Anandi's painting was being done I guess he didn't have problem with Anandi being painted in western attire but he was angry with him because the man went against Anandi's wishes.
The list goes on.
A feminist who fought for women's rights it is quite fine to have an instititution which was dedicated to work towards empowering womenšš¼
Also now that Anandi has shifted there with her son and made that place home for herself and their children it gives a nice warm feeling that their children are growing under his shelter in his home
