Very sorry for this much delayed take, was busy during the last couple of days, and just watched yesterday's episode on YT.. Here's the take for both the episodes..
The last two episodes show some much needed progress in the story.. Mr. Kapoor woke up from his long sleep and realised that he has legal hold to keep the kids with him, wonder where was this concern & authority when the kids were on their own for about 20 days.. And we get to see about 3 minutes of Ram in the last couple of episodes instead of the customary 1 min (which was the norm in the previous one week ;)). Progress indeed,,
The reason for my title, you guys must be wondering what romance I am talking about when the show doesn't have any romance now.. I am talking about the unique romance Ayaan shares with his bade papa and the new romance (or should I say obsession?) he is developing on Ram,.. ;). Aren't these two romances conflicting? :)
Honestly speaking, I am tired of this mutual admiration society Mr. Kapoor & Mr. Lawyer has. Don't we have enough turmoil in the show between Ram and Disha, why do we need one more conflict that is developing between Ayaan and Mr. Kapoor. Maybe it is typical of Indian shows to have conflicts in every relationships and turmoil in every character, but I want the show to focus on Ram and Disha.. Ayaan is fine as long as he helps the other two, but I am not interested in any track focussing on Ayaan's relationship with others..
What is that Ayaan find so absorbing in Ram's file, the file doesn't seem to have any useful info except Ram's pic (which is changing everyday). The number of times Ayaan opens the file and stare at Ram's pic, only leads to one suspicion .. Ayaan is falling in love with Ram ;). His behaviour whenever he is meeting Ram only confirms this suspicion. Ayaan thinks Ram will accept him as his lawyer just because he can play a decent tune on the mouth organ, seriously? Such a juvenile behaviour from a lawyer? Yesterday's scene was better, he was more convincing when he talked about the mutual stubbornness and how he is more stubborn. But, being a lawyer, doesn't he know that it is not allowed to give outside food to the prison inmates? Ok, now we have the same situation inside the cell, Ram's cell-mate have access to mobile and even alcohol, but that's altogether a different matter as we all know such items smuggled inside the prison for influential prisoners by the warden and co is a common occurrence.
Ayaan has not done anything impressive yet, but hoping for some smart action from him once he learns of Ram's real identity. I do think he will realise Ram will agree for legal representation only if he convince Ram that his kids needs him. In the current situation, only Aarav thinks fondly of his father, naturally it has to be Aarav or his presence which can convince Ram.
Ram's cell-mate turns out to be a goon with a sympathetic heart, But what are they going to achieve by this goon track? Btw, did Ram tell the whole truth to the goon?
As always Aarav is ultra cute in every episode, the last scene of yesterday's epaide where he insists on his father's photo to be kept near to his Mumma's, was just too touchy. I am getting irked with Disha's behaviour, I understand her feelings towards her father, every daughter would feel the same in her place, but she is repeatedly being insensitive to her brother, it wasn't very convincing when she told Aarav not to question her love for him.
Manika's taunts and behaviour when Ayaan (by mistake) broke the vase was interesting and effective. We can expect more taunts from her in future. So-far she is showing her contempt on the face, there is no behind the back tricks from her, will it change in the future?
Pasta for breakfast? I don't think even Italians have pasta for breakfast ;). Atleast I was never served pasta for breakfast during my short trip to Italy. These taunts about food is becoming repetitive, but loved Aarav's innocent responses. btw, when are they going to start school again?
Glad that finally makers are bringing up the custody issue. Let's see where it goes.. In the current mindset, Ram might be ready to sign off the custody to Mr. Kapoor without much pressure.
I was trying to remember whether I knew what rights I did and didn't have when I was a minor, I am almost sure I knew that I wouldn't be allowed legally to stay on my own when I was 16. Disha seems to be too ignorant on this aspect for her age and for her generation.
Do all the chirpy, happy go lucky guys need to be shown as stupid? Ayaan's behaviour when he had given the stone to Disha bordered on stupidity.
On the whole, I like the way the story is moving w.r.t kids's relationship with their grandfather and also the way they truth about Ram is slowing revealing to Ayaan.
What I don't like is the too much focus of Ayaan's relationship with his grandfather (and to an extent with Disha, but probably with Disha it is needed). And I am disappointed with the almost nil focus on Ram's feelings. Ram was not shown to be mourning for his wife or the loss of his kids' Loveland trust. He is never shown to reminiscing about the good old days, there is more focus on Mr. Kapoor's pain than Ram's. That makes it as a disappointing watch.
