Alright..back to updates!

A Small Recap: Maan brings Geet to India and with dadima and annie around, he still doesn't mind his shamelessness!😉

PART 5

His thumb rubbed her lips making her gulp hard, down her parched throat, "you should wear sarees more often..."

Her lips trembled as she tried to retort, "no..thank you. I don't want to be getting into troubles because of that..."

He smirked and an evil one at that, "just you wait till i come back!"

And then he was gone, in a jiffy, closing the door shut, leaving her in that dishevelled form. She shook her head... what in the world was she going to do with him?!!

She finished preparing lunch for all and get back to their room. Being home with family was indeed the most happiest moment for anyone. Dadima was in her room and annie would be back for lnch in a while. They loved her cooking so she made sure she made everyone's favourite. She sat down to check her mails but then ended up calling Maan.

"han pumpkin... tell me.."

"umm Maan will you be coming home for lunch?"

He closed the blinds of his cabin and relaxed back on the chair, "kyun? Do you miss me that bad pumpkin?"

Geet rolled her eyes...typical him!

"of course not!", she spoke proudly, "i was just wondering if you will be coming home for lunch!"

"how cruel of you geet!", he made a face, "here am so eager to finish what i had started in the morning and you are being such a brute!"

She gasped recalling what he did to her in the morning and immediately looked at herself in the mirror...she was in the same saree!

"i know you are looking at yourself pumpkin...", he smirked knowing her very well, "but then you needn't worry. I will rip it off just the way you like it..."

She closed her eyes feeling that heat spread through her body and breathed in sharply, "Maan...stop that! First thing i am going to do is change this saree. You are not coming home for lunch, seedhe seedhe bol dijiye. No need to beat around the bush! Bye!"

"acha ruko...wait geet!!"

"hmm boliye..", she sighed defeated.

"pack your clothes...we are leaving for Bangalore tonight!"

"what? Aise achanak?"

"han.. kuch kaam hain.. "

"but Maan hum abhi tho aaye hain. Aise kaise...i mean dadima aur annie ko bura lagega na..."

"shut up pumpkin...important kaam hain and you are needed there. isiliye chalne ko keh raha hoon! Be ready! Bye"

She kept the phone and sighed...this man and his plans. They were just here a day back and he was already working. This is what she didn't like. This is the reason why they had fought at the first place back in London. She didn't want to go but he said she was needed there! she sighed and went to talk to dadima about it over lunch.

She was feeling so sad about leaving dadima like this but she was surprised when dadima nodded happily letting her go. she hugged dadima and kissed her cheeks, "seriously dadima...agar aap nahi hoti tho mera kya hota??!!"

Dadima understood what she meant by that. She hugged her back, "kuch nahi hota bus humare pote ki zindagi waste ho jaati..."

And they burst out laughing. Geet felt so happy to be back home and though Maan was a bit busy she never felt lonely like she did back there. she got back to their room and looked for stuffs to pack.

it was 10pm and Maan was with dadima the whole time since he had come back, speaking something about her. they had dinner in dadima's room itself while she and annie had all the time to themselves.

She paced restlessly, looking at the time, "ehh lo! Bola ke Bangalore jana hain and khud jaane ka naam bhi nahi le rahe! Bekar me i packed so much. Acha hain.. flight tho miss hone wali hain. I am going to sleep!"

She dimmed the lights and lied on the bed. And the next moment she felt him spoon her from the back, startling her!

"Maan..."

He turned her over and came atop her, holding her hands, "why did you change your saree?"

She twisted her lips, "aapko kya fark padta hain?"

He cocked an eyebrow, "you wanna know kya fark padta hain?"

"no thank you. Mujhe sona hain. Get off me!"

"geet...stop being so stubborn. Kya hua hain tumhe aaj?"

"kya hua? You told me to pack stuffs for departure and when i do that, you don't even tell me any details about it. What am i supposed to do when i don't even know when we are leaving?"

He smiled and pressed a hard kiss on her lips, "flight is at 1am!"

"whattt?? Are you crazy? Who travels in the mid of the night?"

He pressed another kiss to her mouth, leaving her breathless, "tickets isi time ki hi mili. Stop whining and let me love my pumpkin...she had been very cranky the whole day!"

as his head descended to plunder her mouth, she pressed her hands on his chest, stopping him, "we have to get ready right?"

"ohh shut up!"

He smacked his lips on hers, locking her hands with his above her head. She knew she won't be able to fight that feeling he sets within her so she just got carried away, just like she always did. He loved her like crazy and she needed nothing more. She didn't even realize how much time elapsed until the clock struck 11.

He parted, making faces that made her laugh. He hated anything and everything that disturbed his time with his pumpkin but funny thing is that he brought it upon himself!

"kya hua Maan...",she teased, "hume late nahi ho raha kya?", and giggled.

He glared at her, "just wait till we reach there...phir tumhari class leta hoon.aaj kal you are hell bent on testing my patience!"

In the next one hour, they were already at the airport and geet was half asleep, clinging to his arm. He didn't disturb her but gently guided her towards the flight and made her sit. She was tired it seemed and he didn't say anything. in fact he was glad that she never asked why they were not going to Bangalore. He had just lied to her plainly.

She heard faint sound of some announcements being made and then Maan's voice, asking her to wake up. She did wake up and was shocked to find themselves in Amritsar instead of Bangalore.

"Maan..we were flying to Bangalore right?"

He suppressed his smile, "yes we are. I have got some work here before we head there. come on.. lets go!"

"but where?"

"uff pumpkin... kya tum bhi! We will head to our site first and then wind up there in the next 3-4 hours and head to Bangalore."

He held her hand and dragged her to their car. He asked the driver to leave and took to the steering. Geet sighed and took the seat beside. Twisted ma n's twisted ways. And she knew she was going to be bored for the next 3-4 hours now. So better she completed her sleep.

How much time flew, she knew nothing but this time she felt something warm... his scent filling her nostrils, his warm luscious lips grazing her cheek and his words pouring into her ears as softly as a feather floating in the air, "geet...pumpkin... wake up and see!"

"hmm?", she hummed in sleep and tunred to his embrace as a reflex.

"geet...utho na please..aur dekho tho saamne!"

"Maan sone do na please..."

"no baby...wake up and see. We are home!", he smiled and pressed a soft kiss to her lips, "now wake up..and see outside!"

She yawned and stretched. Her body had become stiff by sitting for these many hours but then realized Maan had lowered her seat back to make it comfortable for her. it was bright outside and the scent of fresh air reached her. it was early morning may be between 7-8am. They had landed at 4am at Amritsar.

"good morning...", he smiled and pointed his finger towards the window on her side.

Confused, she followed his direction and her jaw dropped down! At first she got confused as to what she was seeing and looked back at Maan.

"its no dream geet...its real."

His assuring smile made her heart race. She rubbed her eyes and looked out again and then back at him and back again at the huge Handa Haveli standing there!

She got off the car and stood numb in front of the house which looked exactly the same as she had seen the last time of her bidaai.

He hugged her from behind and kissed her cheek, "surprise kaisa laga?"

She dipped her head and turned back to him. he was surprised to see her so low and not jump and squeal like her usual self. Worried, he tipped her chin and raised her face to see her.

Drops of tears had trailed down her cheeks as she bit her lips stifle the sob escaping her lips.

"pumpkin...hey... you are crying.. geet... is something wrong?"

Her lashes dropped and she shook her head in denial.

"tho phir ye aansu?", he asked lovingly.

She was just so overwhelmed with his love that she just couldn't say a work. Its been more than three years to her marriage and she had never come home even for once. She never told Maan how much she had wanted to go visit her parents but then he knew her heart even before she could say anything.

"geet didi...", came the squeal of rajji who had spotted their car from her window and rushed out, calling everyone.

Geet turned back to see her sister all grown up and beautiful...and she hugged her tightly.

Soon the entire family followed, crying and laughing in happiness...maa, papaji, tayiji, tayaji, her cousins...everyone blessing and hugging them. They were let in with a grand aarti and he just stood right beside her, letting her take the centre stage, not a step ahead, not a step behind.

Darji and Brij hugged Maan and sat down with him, talking of travel while the ladies took geet away to talk. Everyone sat in the same room but surrounded by different people.

"aur beta...kaam kaisa chal raha hain? Savitri ji kaisi hain?", darji asked Maan.

"bas sab theek hain darji, kaam bhi bahut accha chal raha hain. Dadima bilkul theek hain and aapse milna bhi chahti thi but unhe kuch kaam tha tho nahi aa payin..."

And thats when his eyes locked at her, gazing at him with all the love in. She eyed her family and then eyed him, letting him know that he had not only reunited her with her family but gave a part of her back to her.

After all initial talks, geet was left alone and the entire family went on to do Maan's khatirdaari. She couldn't help but smile. Rano passed her some towels, "puttar..maan ko kamre me le ja...aap dono thak gaye honge.."

And then she went on too gesture everyone to let Maan rest. Rajji followed Maan and geet to their room, talking to Maan and he was happily listening to her.

"aur jeeju..aapko tho kabhi humari yaad hi nahi aati isiliye didi ko bhi aane nahi diya.."

"rajji...", geet gestured her to stop but Maan laughed, "kya karein Sali sahiba.. hum aate tho aapko le jaate phir tho ho gayi iss ghar pe meri khatirdari!"

"ye hain geet didi ka kamra...aap log aaraam kijiye kuch zarurat ho tho mujhe awaz de dena.."

"ji Sali ji...ab se har baar aap hi ko yaad karenge. Jab tak yahan hain aapki didi ki duty khatam aur aapki shuru..."

They had a hearty laugh while the servant settled their luggage. Once they were alone. Geet closed the door and rushed to hug him tightly... and such was her force that he actually stumbled a bit but held back.

"ohh Maan... why do you love me so much?", she cried.

He hugged her back, soothing her hair, "do you even need to know that?"

"i love you so much Maan... you gave a part of me back... not only my family."

"hmmm..i know. Tum khush ho na geet?"

"do you even need to know that?", she spoke back his words ever so softly that he couldn't hold himself back and kissed her forehead, "i need nothing more."

They took their own sweet time to unpack and freshen up. Geet quickly took a bath and wore a simple salwar while Maan fiddled with the stuffs, looking for his stuffs, pacing for the washroom.

Rajji knocked and called them out for breakfast, "didi...jaldi aao sab dono ka intezar kar rahe hain..."

Geet opened the door, "han bas 10 minutes me aa rahe..."

"geeett... ", he screamed from the bathroom, "where the hell have you kept my black shirt? "

"its in the other suitcase Maan..."

"nahi mil rahi... you packed my stuffs now you better find it!", he gave his verdict.

Rajji laughed, "jao aur jeeju ko dekho.. par jaldi aana okay."

The lavish dinner was a treat to everyone. The whole day was a crazy one. Her family was hell bent on de-shaping her poor hubby's six packs by stuffing food into him like he was some giant whale or something. she looked at him and then Brij veerji. He was quiet as ever. She was scared of him for his nature and he was always a reserved person. He hardly talked but she had missed him too, nevertheless.

The day had been crazy. She had stayed back home, catching up with her sisters and mother and tayiji while titu and rest took Maan out on a small hoshiyarpur tour in their car.

It was just after dinner than rano called geet to her room to talk while others stayed back in the hall, talking to Maan.

Geet entered the room and hugged her mother, "kaisa hain mera baccha?"

"mein bilkul theek hun maa...aur aapko bahut miss kiya.."

"rehen de geet... tujhe tho humari yaad hi nahi aati! Wo tho Maan hi hain jinhone hume bataya tha ke tum log aane wale ho!!"

"kya?? Iska matlab ye sab aapko pehle se hi pata tha?"

Rano laughed at her daughter's reaction "haan...maan ne hi sab arrange kiya tha aur hume bataya bhi tha ke tujhe kuch na batayein.. wo bahut acche hain geet..."

As the mother daughter talked of how their lives had changed, it made their hearts open to each other. While geet cried, telling her how much she had missed them, things came out one after the other slowly. As the night darkened, geet told her mother how Maan had not accepted her immediately post their marriage and had gone off to London.

Rano was horrified, "but geet..tune hume kuch bataya kyun nahi puttar..ye sab..lekin kaise mera baccha.. itne saal aise kaise...meri tho kuch samajh mein nahi aa rha. Sach sach bata...maan tujhe dil se apnaate hain na? Tu khush tho hain na unke saath? Aur.."

"maa...maan..shaant ho jaiye! Jaise aap soch rahi hain waisa kuch bhi nahi hain.. mein Maan ke saath bahut khush hoon ab.. han uss waqt.."

"tu sach tho keh rahi hain na geet? Dekh apni maa se kuch mat chupa..."

"nahi maa..."

"Geeettt...", tayiji's shrill voice halted their conversation as she entered their room.

"ja bahut raat ho gayi hain..maan ji tera intezar kar rahe honge.."

"ji tayiji bas Maa se baat karke hi jaa rahi thi..."

"abhi ja!!", tayiji ordered sternly that quietened geet. Tayiji was as scary as ever. It was better is she left quietly and that she did.

The moment she got into their room and closed the door, Maan pulled her to him with a jerk, "itni jaldi waapis aagyi? Ho gayi baatein maa se?", he teased!

She twisted her lips, "haan...aap hi ne tho bulaya tha..."

"i never called... i knew you'd be late for you had to catch up with everyone.."

"kya??", she was surprised as to why tayiji asked her to leave.

"but khair ab aa hi gayi ho tho spend time with me now!"

The next morning she woke up with Maan's phone ringing continuously. It was almost 6:30 and Maan was getting ready to leave. She sat up immediately and then realized she was wrapped just in the sheets! She looked around to see their clothes scattered here and there and blushed hard. Her wrist was blue from last night's passion!

"han ji...yeah am coming...hmm..ya okay!", he finished the call and pressed a kiss on her lips, "good morning jaan.."

She wondered where he was going now, "Maan aap kahan jaa rahe hain?"

He put on his cufflinks, "kuch emergency aa gayi hain geet...i have to leave for delhi now!"

"kya? Sab theek tho hain?", she wrapped the sheet around and got off the bed, "dadima theek tho hain? Kuch hua hain?"

"yeah dadima is fine but i think this needs my attention. Am so sorry to ruin our trip like this, knowing how happy you are but i have to go..."

"no..its fine Maan. Aap rukiye mein bhi taiyyar ho jaati hoon. Phir we can leave!"

She rushed towards the washroom when he pulled her back and made her sit on the bed and knelt in front of her, "no...stay back!"

"but Maan... mein kaise..i mean.."

He cupped her cheeks, "shhh... i had planned this all for you pumpkin and i would not let anything ruin it by any means. You stay back...i will be back in two days!"

"but Maan..."

"meri khushi ke liye.. please! And you are home after so long geet.. trust me you needn't worry. I will sort out things asap and get back to you. Please don't ruin this for you!"

She looked deep into his eyes and she realized he meant each word he said.

"theek hain..but Maan mujhe chinta ho rahi hain.."

"you don't worry. Its not that big of a problem. Just that i need to look into it. Promise i will be back soon. Just don't think about it much okay. Relax and enjoy with your family!"

She sighed as she watched him drive the car out. He would drive to Amritsar from here and fly back to delhi! She just wished everything went fine for it somehow felt not very hopeful.

Maan as usual was being a drama queen here when she called him asking about lunch. And yes I called him drama 'queen' not king. 😆 And his shamelessness is reaching at its peak. Banda kabhi nahi sudhrega. But then he is loved this way more, so not complaining.

Maan got her to Hoshiyarpur instead of Bangalore to surprise her. She really trusts him blindly. No questions asked, bola packing karna hai and she followed it like a obedient wife.

Geet was overwhelmed seeing herself in front of her maika and Maan's love for her. He is flawed but there is no doubt he loves her to death.

Loved Geet's reunion with her family. Three years she didnt see them or come to meet them. Marriage does changes a girl's priorities and every relationships.

Handas gave a grand welcome to their beti and damaad. Loved that small eye talk btw MG in the middle of the family. It was cute.

I really dint expect Geet to actually share about her initial days of marriage and how Maan rejected her. That is so not Geet. She had even hide everything from Annie so why would she share 3years old thing with her mom now? What is the point in digging the past when she has moved on, madly in love and is happily married? She unnecessarily made her mother worried and doubt Maan.

Im not saying Maan wasnt wrong in those days. I did hated him in the start of the FF very much. However, I felt those details could have been skipped very well by Geet. It was totally not needed.

Moreover, I feel that taiji has heard Geet-Rano's conversation that is why she lied to Geet and sent her to Maan. There is something wrong there. I suspect this taiji's intentions.

And the end was all the more strange. Maan came to Hoshiyarpur means he must have planned from the start and scheduled everything. So his sudden departure to Delhi cos there is some emergency is sounded too weird to me. As if this the twist you were talking about in your precap.

Are we to see a separation here? Probably Maan isnt returning back due to some reasons breaking his promise yet again. And since Rano already knows what Maan has done to Geet wont let Geet go after him and forgive him and top it all Geet pregnant? Okay I better stop my speculations here. Kuch jyada hi ho gaya. 🤣

Oh also I got that 'gaint whale' comparision. So you wanted for this update? 😆 I cant stop laughing. 🤣

Anyways, loved the update. Their chochie cooing, Maan's shamelessness and Geet uniting with her family were the highlights of the update.

The ending was quite scary cos I dont trust you at all. Mood mei aayi toh you might give us a big jhataka. Warna you will still enjoy scaring the poor readers like me. So now Im waiting to see if this was really a twist wala twist ya just sabko khali pili darane wala twist? Um, if that makes any sense? Chaddo. Waiting for next update eagerly.
